The Ghana Police Service has commenced a manhunt for an Islamic leader who assàulted Apostle Daniel Junior Yaw Adjei while he was in handcuffs at the Ghana Police Headquarters following his arrest over remarks about Prophet Muhammad.

POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN VIRAL VIDEO ASSAULTING A SUSPECT

The Ghana Police Service has arrested suspect Sibamay Zakaria who was captured in a viral video assaulting a suspect.

The suspect is in custody assisting the investigation and will be put before the court.

Meanwhile, the Police Professional Standards Bureau is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and all persons found culpable will be taken through the necessary disciplinary processes.
