EVERYTHING IS AGAINST ME
(The Best of the Land)


“Don’t worry about your personal belongings, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.”
Genesis 45:20 NLT

After facing tests, fear, regret, loss, and sorrow, the House of Jacob found restoration. The brothers they thought were lost and captured, were alive and thriving. Joseph was the one God used to save his family and many nations. Jacob's household was blessed to live in and enjoy the richness of the land.

Our lives have hardships and setbacks. God allows them to shape us into who we are meant to be. In the end, God rewards our faith. He restores our souls, giving us peace and joy, especially when we hold on to Him during tough times. God prospers His loyal servants on every side. He assures them of even more blessings that no one has seen or heard, and that have never been conceived, for those who love Him through every situation.

God’s Promises are sure and true; not a jot of His Word will fall to the ground unfulfilled. May you be reminded of them and be blessed with the best of the land in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

*BE AN OBEDIENT SERVANT*

Luke 6:46
*‘But why do you call Me "Lord, Lord," and not do the things which I say?’* (NKJV).

Lord is a term used to refer to a master of a house. An obedient servant calls the master ‘lord’, signifying the master's lordship: and most importantly, submits to the will of the master. In other words, the servant obeys the master's voice.

In our opening verse, Jesus, our Lord, makes a profound statement saying, ‘why do you call me Lord but refuse to harken to my voice’? Any servant who defies the lord is disobedient, and shall be cast out. Jesus says in Revelation 3:16, *_So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth_* (NKJV). As a follower of Christ, be an obedient servant before He casts you out.

Matthew 7:21 says *_‘Not everyone who says to Me, “Lord, Lord,” shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven’_* (NKJV). Brethren, why do you go to church but refuse to obey what you're taught, why do you have a godly form but deny the power that'll make you holy? With this character, you shall by no means go to heaven. Look for Jesus Christ, live holily and save your soul! God bless you.

*FEAR GOD*

Matthew 10:28 (KJV)
*And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.*

When we were children, we dared not do what our parents have counselled against and especially in their presence, this is because we could be in trouble when found: we could be disciplined as a result.

It's quite surprising that christians are very much aware of the ubiquity of God but nevertheless continue to sin. It's about time we recall how obedient we were when we were kids and replicate even a greater degree of obedience towards God. Because He has the capacity not only to discipline our physical being but to also inflict an everlasting excruciating pains on our souls in hell.

What again do you want to hear before you repent? This is the right time because you don't know neither the hour you may die nor that of Christ's second coming.

Repent and save your soul, look for Jesus Christ now, for you cannot stand the angry day of the Lord as a sinner.

*BEFRIEND THE JUDGE*

John 5:22 (KJV)
*For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son*.

A judge is the head of a court session. Even though there are already written laws pertaining to the decision by a judge, I believe that a judge can influence the judgement if he has a relationship with whom the judgement is supposed to be passed.

We read from our opening scripture that God will judge no man, but He's committed the heavenly judgement in the hands of His dear Son—Jesus Christ, hallelujah! Thus, every person who has ever lived including all religious leaders shall stand before the judgement throne of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:10 (KJV) buttresses that, *_For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad_*. If a judge can influence the decision of a court, then I recommend the heavenly judge for you brethren, befriend Him so that He may rule in your favour.

Young man, do you know Jesus or you have heard His name? Young woman, those who live in Christ do not continue to sin. I urge you to look for Jesus Christ and inundate your mind with His gospel. God bless you.
