*BE AN OBEDIENT SERVANT*
Luke 6:46
*โBut why do you call Me "Lord, Lord," and not do the things which I say?โ* (NKJV).
Lord is a term used to refer to a master of a house. An obedient servant calls the master โlordโ, signifying the master's lordship: and most importantly, submits to the will of the master. In other words, the servant obeys the master's voice.
In our opening verse, Jesus, our Lord, makes a profound statement saying, โwhy do you call me Lord but refuse to harken to my voiceโ? Any servant who defies the lord is disobedient, and shall be cast out. Jesus says in Revelation 3:16, *_So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth_* (NKJV). As a follower of Christ, be an obedient servant before He casts you out.
Matthew 7:21 says *_โNot everyone who says to Me, โLord, Lord,โ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heavenโ_* (NKJV). Brethren, why do you go to church but refuse to obey what you're taught, why do you have a godly form but deny the power that'll make you holy? With this character, you shall by no means go to heaven. Look for Jesus Christ, live holily and save your soul! God bless you.
Christ will come again๐
