🔥 KNOWLEDGE IS NOT WISDOM
A person can know the right thing and still do the wrong thing.
Think about that.

You can know that fire burns and still put your hand into it.
You can know the consequences and still make the wrong choice.
You can know Scripture and still disobey the God who gave it.

So knowledge and wisdom are not identical.
Knowledge tells you what is true.
Understanding helps you perceive what that truth means.
Wisdom enables you to apply truth correctly.
This is why Scripture says:

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
— Proverbs 4:7

Divine wisdom is not merely information accumulated in the mind.
It is God's truth understood and rightly applied according to His purpose.
That is why a person can be highly educated and still make foolish decisions.
And another person may have limited formal education yet demonstrate remarkable wisdom.

The issue is not merely:
“How much do you know?”
The deeper question is:
“What are you doing with what God has allowed you to know?”

Information fills the mind.
Divine wisdom governs its application.

🔥 WISDOM HAS AN ASSIGNMENT
What if God does not give everyone the same measure or manifestation of wisdom because He does not give everyone the same assignment?
Consider Bezalel.
God said:

“I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.”
— Exodus 31:3

Why?
To construct the Tabernacle.
God put extraordinary wisdom in a craftsman because there was something extraordinary he had been assigned to build.
He needed wisdom for his assignment.
Solomon needed wisdom to govern.
Bezalel needed wisdom to build.
Joseph needed wisdom to administer Egypt.
Daniel needed wisdom and understanding concerning mysteries and revelations.
Different assignments.
Different manifestations.
Same God.

This is why you must stop measuring yourself by another person's assignment.
You may not have Solomon's governmental wisdom.
You may not have Bezalel's craftsmanship.
You may not have Daniel's prophetic understanding.
But that does not mean God has left you without wisdom.
There may be wisdom deposited in you specifically for what He has called you to accomplish.

Wisdom has an assignment.
What area of your God-given assignment do you need divine wisdom for right now?

Ask God for the wisdom required for yours.

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God...”
— James 1:5

🔥 AS WISE AS SOLOMON?

We say it so casually:

“He is as wise as Solomon.”

But is Solomon actually the wisest man who ever lived?

The Bible says something extraordinary about him:

«“There was none like thee before thee, neither shall any arise like unto thee.”
— 1 Kings 3:12»

But look carefully at what Solomon asked God for.

He did not ask for all knowledge.

He asked for:

«“an understanding heart... to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad.”
— 1 Kings 3:9»

Solomon was a young king facing an enormous assignment.

He needed divine wisdom to govern God's people.

And God gave it to him.

What followed was extraordinary.

He administered a vast kingdom.

He settled difficult disputes.

He established order.

He maintained peace.

He developed international relationships.

He organized national administration.

He oversaw the construction of the Temple.

Kings travelled from distant lands to hear his wisdom.

So perhaps the question isn't simply:

“Was Solomon the wisest man?”

The deeper question is:

“What kind of wisdom did God give Solomon?”

Because Scripture says:

«“the only wise God” — Romans 16:27»

If God alone is absolutely wise, then every human being who possesses divine wisdom possesses it by receiving it from God.

Solomon was extraordinary.

But God was the Source.

And when we understand that distinction, the story of Solomon becomes much more fascinating.

WHAT IF BELIEVING IS NOT THE FINISH LINE?
We often celebrate the statement:
“I believe.”
But Scripture challenges us to go further.
You can believe something is true and still do absolutely nothing about it.
You can believe that God is able. You can believe that His Word is true. You can believe that Jesus is Lord.
And yet… remain exactly where you are.
James says something startling:

“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”
— James 2:19

Think about that.
Even demons believe.
They have no doubt that God exists. They recognize His authority. They even tremble.
But their belief does not produce obedience to God.
So there must be something more than mere agreement with truth.
Belief receives truth into the heart.
Faith gives that belief expression.
Romans 10:10 says:

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness…”

Belief begins inside.
But genuine faith does not remain imprisoned there.
Faith speaks. Faith obeys. Faith moves. Faith acts upon what God has said.
Noah did not merely believe God's warning.
He built.
Abraham did not merely believe God's promise.
He went.
Peter did not merely believe Jesus could sustain him on the water.
He stepped out of the boat.
The question therefore is not only:
“What do you believe?”
There is another question heaven may be asking:
“What is your belief making you do?”
Because faith is not simply your confession that God's Word is true.
Faith is your response to the fact that God's Word is true.
Don't stop at believing.
Let your belief become faith in motion.

WHEN WE HEAR “SICKNESS,” WE USUALLY THINK OF THE BODY.

Headaches.

Malaria.

Cancer.

Infection.

Pain.

Weakness.

A physical disease.

When the body is sick, we seek help. We visit doctors, run tests, take medication, and may undergo surgery.

Why?

Because the body matters.

God created it, and caring for it is important.

But sickness does not begin and end with the body.

A person has an inner dimension—a soul and a spirit. We can become so focused on the body that we ignore what is happening within.

Jesus ministered to the whole person. He healed the sick, opened blind eyes, restored the broken, and delivered the oppressed.

The Bible says:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil.”
— Acts 10:38

Jesus cares about physical suffering, so when your body is sick, seek appropriate medical care. Faith does not require rejecting doctors or medicine.

But a healthy body does not mean you are completely healthy.

You can have a strong body and a wounded heart, a beautiful appearance and a sick spirit.

Scripture teaches that sin brought death into a fallen world. But not every physical sickness results from personal sin. Jesus rejected that simplistic conclusion when His disciples asked about the man born blind.

Sometimes sickness has physical causes. Sometimes Scripture identifies spiritual oppression. Sometimes personal sin affects the body. Sometimes we simply do not know.

But whatever the cause, Jesus remains Lord over the whole person.

Physical healing is wonderful, but it is not humanity’s deepest need.

There is a sickness deeper than physical pain: the sickness of the soul and spirit.

The greatest tragedy is not merely having a sick body, but having a healthy body while remaining separated from the God who gave you life.

That is why Jesus came.

He came for the whole person—body, soul, and spirit.

Doctor Jesus is unlike any other physician.

He does not merely treat symptoms.

He came to restore the whole person.

NOT EVERY SICK PERSON IS SICK IN THE BODY
There are people who are physically healthy but desperately need healing.
You can examine their body and find nothing seriously wrong.
Their blood pressure may be normal.
Their heart may be functioning.
Their organs may be healthy.
They can smile, work, eat and walk normally.
Yet something inside them is hurting.
There is a sickness that cannot be seen on the body.
It is the sickness of the SOUL.
The inner man can become wounded.
The mind can become troubled.
The emotions can become broken.
The will can become weakened.
Mental cases, including insanity and other severe disturbances of the mind, can also be part of soulish sickness. The body may appear healthy while the mind and emotions are deeply afflicted and in need of healing.
A person can carry:
Fear.
Anxiety.
Bitterness.
Rejection.
Grief.
Unforgiveness.
Trauma.
Loneliness.
Despair.
A broken heart.
And sometimes the person sitting beside you, laughing with everyone else, is fighting a battle nobody knows about.
Their body is standing...
But their heart is bleeding.
Their mouth is smiling...
But their soul is crying.

This is why we must learn to look beyond the body.
Jesus understood this dimension of human suffering.
He didn't only heal blind eyes and crippled bodies.
He also ministered to broken hearts.
He declared:

“He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted.”
— Luke 4:18

What a Physician!
He cares about what nobody else can see.
He cares about the wounds hidden behind the smile.
He cares about the memories that still hurt.
He cares about the fears that keep people awake at night.
He cares about the heart that has been crushed by rejection.

Jesus is concerned about your soul.
The sickness of the soul can quietly shape a person's thoughts, choices, relationships and view of God.
A wounded soul may keep returning to old pain.
It may struggle to trust, to forgive, to hope or to receive love.
It may look strong on the outside while carrying years of grief, shame and disappointment within.
But Jesus does not despise the wounded soul.
He meets people in their hidden places.
He brings truth where confusion has lived.
He brings comfort where sorrow has settled.
He brings forgiveness where guilt has become heavy.
He brings freedom where fear has held the heart captive.
The healing of the soul is not always instant, but it is always possible in His presence.

The Bible says:
“A broken spirit who can bear?”
— Proverbs 18:14

A broken spirit can make life feel unbearable. This is why the wounds of the mind, emotions and inner life must not be ignored.
And while the body may sometimes be weak, and the spirit may need renewal, we must not overlook the deep wounds carried within the soul.

The Great Physician wants to restore the whole person.
He wants to heal what has been broken, cleanse what has been defiled, and strengthen what has become weak.
If your soul is tired, wounded or burdened, you do not have to hide it from Jesus.

Doctor Jesus is still on duty.
He still comforts.
He still restores.
He still forgives.
He still heals.
Come to Him.

Stop Wishing for a Miracle—Start Moving Toward One
​Passive faith changes nothing. Faith isn’t just agreeing that God can do it; faith responds when God speaks.
​James 2:26 says, “Faith without works is dead.”
​Real biblical faith always has a heartbeat, a voice, and a step attached to it.
​Look at the Gospels—miracles were rarely received sitting still:

​The woman with the issue of blood didn’t just wish for healing. She pressed through the crowd, reached out, and touched His garment. (Mark 5:34)

​The paralytic’s friends didn’t just talk about Jesus. They carried the mat, ripped open a roof, and lowered him down.

​The blind men refused to suffer in silence. They yelled over the noise: “Son of David, have mercy on us!” (Matthew 9:27)

​The Syrophoenician woman faced apparent rejection, but she kept worshipping, asking, and believing until her breakthrough came.

​Notice the common denominator? Faith acts.
​Faith prays. It asks, seeks, knocks, obeys, and steps forward. It stubbornly refuses to surrender to unbelief.
​This isn't about manufacturing your own miracle—our confidence rests entirely in the sovereign goodness of God. But Scripture calls us to put our feet to our belief.
​“Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only.” — James 1:22
​So don't just scroll past this and say "Amen." Do something with the Word today:

​Need healing or restoration? Pray.

​Need direction? Ask God.

​Need forgiveness? Come to Christ.

​God gave you an instruction? Take the step.

​Need support? Reach out for prayer.

​Don't let fear paralyze you, and don't let yesterday’s disappointment shrink tomorrow’s expectation. Jesus is still Lord. His Word is still true. Your job is to believe and obey—leave the outcome in His hands.
​WHAT IS YOUR FAITH REQUIRING YOU TO DO TODAY?
​Don't just be a hearer. Before you lock your phone screen, take one step of obedience. Your faith might just be the step that opens the door to your encounter.

WHAT JESUS DID FOR YOU

Ignorance of what Jesus has accomplished is one of faith’s greatest enemies.
You cannot confidently receive what you do not know has been provided.
Isaiah prophesied:

“He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities... and with his stripes we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5

Matthew connected Jesus’ ministry to this prophecy:

“Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” — Matthew 8:17

Peter declared:

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree...” — 1 Peter 2:24
And:
“By whose stripes ye were healed.” — 1 Peter 2:24

Jesus bore our sins, sicknesses, and infirmities. He willingly suffered, died, was buried, and rose again.
Our confidence rests not on wishful thinking, but on Jesus and His finished work.
Do not put your faith in a specific number of lashes. Scripture does not say Jesus received exactly thirty-nine. Put your faith in what Scripture says:
Jesus suffered for us, bore our sins, carried our infirmities, died, and rose again.
Faith does not create Jesus’ work. It receives what God has revealed and provided through Him.
When sickness attacks, look to Jesus. When fear speaks, return to the Word. When circumstances say there is no hope, answer with Scripture:

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.” — Hebrews 12:2

Your confidence is not in your ability to believe, but in the One you believe.

ACT ON THE WORD:
Read Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:17, and 1 Peter 2:24 aloud. Meditate on them, pray them, and bring your need before Jesus. Ask others to pray with you.
Let God’s Word become louder in your heart than fear.
