BRIEF HISTORY OF Mawlaana Shaikh Alhãj Yusuf Nibrãsuz Zamaan Kumbungu RTA
THE MATRILINEAGE OF MAWLANA SHAIKH ALHAJ YUSUF NIBRÃSUZ ZAMAAN RTA
• The maternal lineage of Shaikh Alhaj Yusuf Nibrasuz Zamaan is traced to a decent and an indisputable royal family. His grandfathers were well known of their bravery, superiority, elite, eminence, courage, aggressiveness, unconquerable and super combatants in matters of battle and combats.
• They were also famous of their enthusiasm, splendor and fidelity in settling disputes among their adherents and followers.
• More so, they were as well religious leaders, clerics, sages, saints, scholars within their monarchy. Their Islamic morality was superb, splendid and superlative, thus, peace, harmony, humor, tranquility and development was planted and generated in their locality. These their attitudes made the environment conducive resulting to a better standard of living of their people and nation as well.
• Their contribution to the kingdom of DAGBON (the paramountcy of Dagomba), is applauding and manifesting, thus, their legacy is eternal and cannot be forgotten in the history of the blessed kingdom of DAGBON.
☆Dwelling into his maternal lineage...☆
Our Master's maternal lineage is taken from his great grandfather called N-Yabi Kpalmang Lana Simani which literally means Our Grandfather The Chief Of Kpalmanq, a village around the royal capital of Dagbon (Yendi). A hero and a legend and our proudly grandfather who made histories across the length and breadth of Dagbon.
He then brought forth his descendant, another hero in the person of Kpabiya Naa Abdullahi (literally, Abdullahi the chief of Kpabiya). Kpabiya is also a suburb of the royal capital of Dagbon, Yendi.
Kpabiya Naa Abdullahi the great gave birth to so many children. His eldest daughter in the person of M-Paga Abibata (Our Grandmother Habibatu) happened to be the mother of our pride, the pride of Ghana and the universe at large, his eminence and excellency Shaikh Alhaj Yusuf Mustapha Kumbungu RTA. The eldest son of Chief Abdullahi also happened to be the father of his eminence, the great scholar, the late Shaikh Alhaj Alhassan Nasirdeen Of Nasiriyya RTA implying that Shaikh Alhassan Nasirdeen RTA was the cousin of Mawlana Qibreetul Ahmar, The Superlative Ghostic And Saint, Shaikh Alhaj Yusuf Mustapha Nibrasuz Zamaan Kumbungu RTA.
Our grandmother Sayyidatuna Habibatu is the mother of Shaikh Alhaj Yusuf Mustapha RTA. Her husband Mawlana Shaikh Muahammad Mustapha RTA who was also an elite and an erudite happened to be the father of our lovely granddad Shaikh Alhaj Yusuf Kumbunqu RTA.
