To build the EKUMFI we want, we must harness it youths to play an active role and there is no other person doing so well now than Dada Joe alias from Ekumfi Abor.
He is an inspiration to the thousands of Youth in Ekumfi.
It's not just about him but the many youths whose hope hangs in the balance. I've seen his effort to raise not just his family but also many of the youths around him.
I've always maintained that, we can't do it alone if we don't get others on board.
Ekumfi Eyisam brothers started, Ebuakwa citizens came on board and now the mantle is in Ekumfi Abor.
If you listen to the story of of Ekumfi Abor , you will give hope a chance to work on ur faith for victory ✌️.

Watch this space for full story.
Ekumfi TV will share more stories about our brother
Let's all come on board to build the EKUMFI we want.

●Suspended CJ Gertrude Torkornoo refuses to resign, calls removal process ‘cruel’ and unconstitutional●

Suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo has publicly stated she will not resign or retire while facing unprecedented removal proceedings, asserting that doing so would legitimise an "unconstitutional" and "cruel" process.

On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, suspended Chief Justice, Gertrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo, addressed the nation from Accra with a firm declaration: she will not step down or retire while the proceedings to remove her are still ongoing.

She described the process not only as unprecedented in the country’s history but also as fundamentally flawed and illegal.

Justice Torkornoo made it clear that resigning now would amount to endorsing what she called “cruel treatment” being directed at her. “Resigning or retiring is not an option, once the suspension claims and process has begun,” she said, emphasizing that doing so would mean surrendering to an unconstitutional process and losing all the entitlements she believes she is due—without the opportunity to defend herself against what she continues to call “false claims.”

Chief Justice Torkornoo was appointed to the Supreme Court in November 2019 and became Chief Justice on June 12, 2023.

Her suspension under Article 146 of the 1992 Constitution followed multiple petitions challenging her judicial decisions, administrative actions, and alleged misuse of travel-related funds—allegations she has strongly denied, submitting evidence in response.

President John Dramani Mahama, after reviewing the three petitions and acting in line with Article 146(6) of the Constitution, determined that a prima facie case had been established. Following consultations with the Council of State, the President issued a warrant suspending Chief Justice Torkornoo with immediate effect on Tuesday, April 22.

New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom) launches Institute.
An ambience of the party that's going to take members through its principles and ideologies.
Many believe this is a way to go as part of rebranding and organizing the party ahead of the 2028 elections and any other elections.

Hon Dr Othniel Ekow Kwainoe write :

" I had the singular honour of interacting with some distinguished veteran legislators as part of my commitment to deepening relationships and drawing wisdom from seasoned legislators.

The interaction not only a warm exchange of ideas but a powerful moment of reflection, learning, and renewed resolve.

I see these interaction as "rich with insight and steeped in experience," noting that the humility and candour of the veteran MP were both humbling and inspiring.

"There is so much to gain when we listen to those who have walked the path before us. I am determined to draw from the well of wisdom our elders offer as I serve the good people of Ekumfi with clarity, integrity, and excellence,”.

In an era where mentorship in public service is often overlooked, I wish to emphasize the importance of intergenerational dialogue in building a stronger, more effective Parliament.

As a representative of the good people of Ekumfi, I remain committed to representing my constituency with humility, dignity, and progressive vision constantly learning, growing, and collaborating for the greater good."

😢Central Region : ECG Transformer Stolen at Nuamakrom/Afosua Electoral Area▪︎

Residents of Twifu Nuamakrom in the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District in the Central Region of Ghana were shocked to discover on Saturday, June 21st, that the transformer supplying electricity to their community had been stolen. Hon. Daniel Agbodza, the Assembly Member for the area and Presiding Member of the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District, received a call from a native of Nuamakrom reporting the incident.

According to Hon. Agbodza, the affected residents experienced a power outage around 1 am, which they initially thought was a scheduled blackout. However, upon inspection, it was revealed that the transformer had been removed from its pole, and its contents had been taken away, leaving behind empty covers.

Hon. Agbodza expressed his concerns, stating that the nature of the theft suggests the involvement of experts. He praised the district engineer of the Electricity Company of Ghana, Mr. Redeemer, and his team for their swift response in restoring power to the CHP compound and affected areas.

The incident has been reported to the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District police command, and the authorities have promised to apprehend the culprits and bring them to justice. The theft has raised concerns about safety and security in the community, leaving residents fearful and panicked.
