Adzepa Masqueraders Club was founded on 4th January 2021 in the historic city of Cape Coast, with a clear purpose: to use the rich tradition of masquerade as a powerful tool for community development, youth and women empowerment, and cultural revival. With the bold motto “Reconnecting with the people and community,” Adzepa stands out not just for its colorful performances, but also for its mission to redefine and rebrand the masquerade culture in Ghana. The club believes in masquerade not only as festive entertainment but also as a vehicle for social change.
Their vision is to become the most vibrant and leading masquerade group, and they are steadily living up to that goal. Since its inception, Adzepa has actively launched community-driven projects aimed at improving the lives of residents, staying true to its founding idea of using culture to uplift people.
As the club celebrates its 5th anniversary, they are marking the occasion with an exciting and memorable event dubbed “The_5th_Xperience” — a celebration of growth, unity, culture, and community impact. Adzepa Masqueraders is more than just a masquerade group — it is a movement of purpose, passion, and progress.
