🚜⛑️Obuasi: SMET Safety, Work, And Happiness Day.🚜⛑️
As part of creating a serene and conducive learning atmosphere for learners, the Obuasi based SMET Mining And Engineering Training School, one of the best and most recognized Mining Engineering school in Africa, has today organized a Safety, Work and Happiness Day.
This program aimed at teaching students about safety measures and other strategic ways of learning through entertainment alongside the usual classroom activities.
Learners were involved in activities such as quiz on pre checks,general folk lifts and working procedures, games and other fun activities which came with prizes for all participants.
Addressing the students, the Executive Director of SMET Mining and Engineering Training, Nana Osei Kwame stated that; the school have students from most parts of Ghana and various African countries like Sierra Leone🇸🇱, Zimbabwe🇿🇼, Ivory Coast 🇨🇮, Togo🇹🇬, Nigeria🇳🇬 and more.
He also stated that, students are been taken to South Africa🇿🇦 annually for exchange programs and tours on Engineering programs.
Nana Osei Kwame also promised to improve the learning equipment and infrastructural system in order to make learning and training easier for all learners.
In conclusion, Students were given the opportunity to give health talks, safety talks and educational talks.
