Luke 2:13-15 (NKJV): "And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:" Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men! So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, "Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us."

One moment shepherds were watching over their sheep, when suddenly they encountered a glorious display of the supernatural, changing their lives forever! God could have chosen to announce and reveal the birth of the Messiah to anyone; but He chose some nearby shepherds. They weren't royalty or member's of high society. They were ordinary, down-to-earth people. No doubt, these shepherds wondered why they, of all people, were chosen to witness this splendid exhibition of heavenly hosts. But isn't this the message of the Gospel: The last shall be first, the least shall be the greatest, and the humble shall be exalted? The Gospel is for anyone who recognizes their need for a Saviour. If you ever question whether you are worthy to have God's glory displayed in you - understand He chose to inhabit ordinary vessels so His glory could be magnificently displayed. This Christmas, encounter the Glory that is Jesus. Let His life flow in and through yours, making the ordinary extraordinary, and exchanging the natural for the supernatural.

Ephesians 3:16 (AMPC): "May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]."

Did you know your spirit, which has been recreated in the image and likeness of Christ, possesses everything required for you to prosper, thrive, conquer and triumph in life? In fact, whatever is true of Jesus is true of you. His power is your power, and His victory is your victory. The trouble comes when our carnal nature dominates our spirit man. When we allow the pressure from circumstances to overwhelm our natural minds, we get bombarded with conflicting thoughts and run-away emotions. All of them competing to override the truth of God's Word. That's where Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3:16 comes to the rescue. We can trust the Holy Spirit to infuse us with inner strength as we hold onto the truth of God's Word and trust it as the final authority of our lives. This is how we empower our spirit-man to dominate every fearful, contradicting thought and emotion. It's time to receive your power to overcome!

Galatians 6:9 (NKJV): "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."

Faith is always moving us forward. God's will is for us to constantly grow from faith to faith; strength to strength; and glory to glory. That means there's always going to be more... More of Him to experience in every area of our lives. If you're worried about your future, or you've grown weary under the load of your responsibilities, it's time to receive fresh strength today. The Bible says every good thing has been placed inside you to move you into the future God has for you (Ephesians 1:3). Jesus said if we don't give up, but come to Him - He will lift that burden, come along side us, and carry the weight of it (Matthew 11:28). Open your heart to Him today, ask the Holy Spirit for a fresh infusion of His power and joy, and you will receive all the strength you need to push on! Remember, you have an inseparable partnership with the Living God. Lean on Him and the truth of His Word, and you will walk in the fullness of life He has promised you.

Hebrews 3:1 (AMPC):
"...consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest Whom we confessed [as ours when we embraced the Christian faith]."

Jesus is the high priest of our confession. This means He personally takes our confession before the Father, and presents it to Him as righteous and authentic. He literally comes into agreement with us, before the Father, and watches over our words to see them performed in our lives. In John 15:16 Jesus said while we remain in Him, whatever we ask the Father in His Name (the Name of Jesus) the Father will give it to us. This powerful, inseparable relationship we have with Jesus, through the finished work of the cross, has allowed us a privilege we must never take for granted. He has ensured that while we are diligently walking in fellowship and harmony with Him, He will back every prayer we pray and see it become our reality. Hebrews 4 adds this very important clause: the prayers Jesus backs and guarantees to be answered must firstly be in line with the Word of God; and secondly, we must believe! Mechanical prayers not spoken from our believing hearts will not do. So step into harmony with your great, faithful High Priest today; believe in what He has promised you, and trust Him to see it come to pass.

Daniel 10:12 (NKJV): "Then he said to me, 'Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand', and 'to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words'"



Did you know that God is essentially and actively interested in your finances? He not only wants to increase what you have, but protect it from being devoured by your enemy, the devil (Malachi 3:11-12; Hebrews 7:1-8). The truth of the matter is: we have a Heavenly Father who unconditionally cares for us. Our worry over our finances brings Him no pleasure, nor does it move His hand to provide for us. What does move Him, however, is our opening the door for Him to bless and provide for us through faith and obedience. Tithing is a practical, covenant principle that God established before the law. It is a supernatural way to legally intervene in our finances. When we replace our fretting over our finances with a deep trust in God's promises, nothing will stand in the way of His abundant provision. Today, meditate on the blessing God's Word promises you as a tither, let it build your faith to act on His Word. Then watch how your Faithful God takes supernatural care of your every need!

Psalm 89:8 (NLT):
"O Lord God of Heaven's Armies! Where is there anyone as mighty as You, O Lord? You are entirely faithful."

God is entirely faithful. In fact, our confidence lies in His faithfulness! The Word of God is filled with wise, practical instruction and promises for those who wholeheartedly follow after Him. These are people of faith and they fully trust in God's faithfulness to keep His Word concerning them. Do you imagine God would fill His Word with wonderful truth and promises just to tease us, and tell us the benefits and promises are completely unattainable? Why would He inspire what He cannot deliver? The truth is: God's faithfulness extends further than we could imagine; it's never ending and sure. His promises are true and it's His desire for us to live in them! The key is: believing. The Bible says when we seek the Lord, we must firstly believe that He is; and secondly, we must believe He rewards us for diligently seeking after Him. Know this today, our God will never go back on the promises He has made to us. He will never overlook them or forget He made them. Why? Because He is entirely faithful! His Word is true, He never changes, and He is constantly watching to show Himself strong on behalf of those who fully trust Him.

Exodus 19:4-5 (AMPC): "You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles" wings and brought you to Myself. Now therefore, if you will obey My voice in truth and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own peculiar possession and treasure from among and above all peoples; for all the earth is Mine."

God established a covenant with His people. It was a sworn commitment from God to make them His own possession, and treasure them above all people. Can you just imagine being set apart and treasured by God like this? He wanted the whole earth to know how much He cared for, provided for, and protected His Own. Did you know that the finished work of the cross caused us to enter into a new and even better covenant with God? This covenant we have has the same benefits of the old - and far greater ones in the new. And we get to enjoy each one by yielding to His grace, and responding in faith. The heart of this new covenant is so extremely generous, it's outrageous! Instead of God's people only being able to experience Him from afar, lest they die from being exposed to His glory; God made a way for His Presence to come live inside us. We can individually experience His tangible peace and extravagant love by just turning our attention to Him. We have the privilege of hearing His voice speaking into our hearts. We even obey Him by the power of His Spirit that works within us. We dare you to take full advantage of your new covenant with God today!

Exodus 14:10,13 (AMPC): "When Pharaoh drew near, the Israelites looked up, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them; and the Israelites were exceedingly frightened and cried out to the Lord...Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still..."

Crying and complaining from disappointment or frustration is certainly not exclusive to young children is it? For Christians, crying, complaining, and losing our temper is a sign of immaturity. Yes, Jesus did say we will face some pretty rough challenges in this life, enough to put even the strongest faith to the test. Yet, in the same breath He ensures us we are well able to overcome every one of them. So, while it's expected for our faith to be tested, it's un-biblical for us to be in Christ Jesus and suffer defeat. As the Israelites saw the Egyptians coming after them, in spite of all they had witnessed their supernatural God perform, their immediate response was panic and loud cries of defeat. It was Moses, strengthened by His faith in God, who cried out a different response that day. As a result the Children of Israel were miraculously saved. It's time for us to grow up in the Word. We must let faith be our immediate response at the sight of trouble. This is the first sign of maturity; and victory is never far behind.

Romans 1:17 (NKJV):"...the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

Everything concerning God and our personal growth in Him is progressive. The Bible says faith is not just current, it's a spiritual force with a nature to constantly increase in us, so we can live the full life Jesus died for us to live. Faith is a vital part of the kingdom of God. Did you know the moment we became born again, the supernatural kingdom of God came to live in us! (Luke 17:21). That means this kingdom is not a destination, it's a way of life we are expected to live. In Romans 14:17, it describes what this kingdom way of life looks like: it's full of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost! This is the way of life in Heaven; and Jesus said that since we are inseparably connected to it, we must live it here on earth too. (Matthew 11:2; 16:19) Can you imagine living your best life, even before you get to heaven? Well, it's expected of you; and the only way to do it is by faith! So give yourself to the Word of God. Let the Holy Spirit continually engrave it on your heart and influence your mind to think after its truth. This is how God's kingdom way of life will become your way of life too. You'll be living your best life now!

Romans 4:20 (NLT): "Abraham never wavered in believing God's promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God."

The life and account of Abraham in the Bible stirs up a relentless faith in us. In the natural, it was impossible for Abraham and Sarah to conceive a single son, let alone father an entire nation. All they had to hold onto was a promise God gave them. This promise became more of a reality to Abraham than anything else in his life. The Bible says he didn't waver in his confidence in God's faithfulness to keep His promise. The word "waver" means "to be undecided"or to "hesitate". Abraham never doubted what God had spoken regarding their future. His faith got stronger as he firmly stood on and believed the promise. Don't get caught up focusing on what's visible in the natural world we live in; instead, focus on God's promises concerning you. Know He is fully able and willing to make His promises good. Follow Abraham's example of refusing to waver in your confident trust in God and His Word. This way, just like Abraham, your faith will grow stronger and God will get all the glory as each promise is fulfilled.
