It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sheikh Mohammed Macky Inyass, beloved son of the great Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass (R.T.A.).

1943 – 2026

His departure is a great loss to his family, the Tijaniyya community, and the Muslim Ummah at large.

May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, shower him with His infinite mercy, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and give his family, loved ones, and the entire Ummah strength and patience during this difficult time.

اللهم اغفر له وارحمه وعافه واعف عنه

May Allah forgive him, have mercy upon him, pardon him, and grant him peace.

Learning the Qur’an is one of the greatest acts of worship in Islam. It guides us to what is right, strengthens our faith, and teaches us how to live. The Prophet S.A.W said:

“The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” — Sahih al-Bukhari

So, we should make time to read, understand, memorize, and practice the Qur’an, even if we learn just one verse each day. Never think it is too late to start. The Qur’an should be our companion throughout our lives.
