***EDIT***
Real Talk?
We know the past 8 years were stagnant for us in Ahanta West. We do have hope that the new administration is more proactive, productive and PROGRESSIVE in their leadership. AMEN. 🙏

It's been 8 long years...the people living in the Akwidaa rural area have suffered long enough.
The taxi/trotro/moto drivers may have to shut it down again...
We have been requesting for our road to at LEAST get grading/scraping to make it safe for drivers and pedestrians.
All we get are empty promises and yet another year of road erosion and flooding/mudslide.
Trotros and Taxis were unable to SAFELY pass today. No movement, No Business, No Money.
Isn't there a yearly budget for roads each year?
What happened to the past 8 budgets? 🤔👀
Maintenance and safety should be PRIORITIES, not afterthoughts.
Why is the Ahanta WEST Municipal Assembly neglecting our area like this?
They are well aware of the severe road conditions...
Dixcove-Akwidaa Old Town Coastal Road, Sankor/New Town Road, Agona-Dixcove Road.
They act like the people in this area don't matter.
Excuse me, this includes your BEACH ACCESS ROAD...do you not know what kind of tourism/visitors revenue you're throwing away by neglecting these roads?
No one will care until there is a severe accident or death on the road, then the useless excuses will start flying.
This is INSANITY.
Surely, there's someone who can make WISE decisions on behalf of their citizens...If they actually gave a damn.
