The Call for a New Jomoro🫵🏻
Fellow Youth of Jomoro✊🏿
Take a look around you. For years, we have been told to wait for our turn. We have watched the "Old Men" promise wisdom but deliver stagnation. We have seen those from the diaspora return with grand ideas that don’t fit our soil.
We have seen our culture, our heritage, and our very own identity traded away in "political tricks" and backroom negotiations that never benefit the ordinary person on the street of jomoro.
Jomoro is not for sale. Our heritage is not a bargaining chip for "political CEOs" who only visit us when they want our thumbprints and our lands.
They say I am young. I say that is my greatest strength. I am not tied to the failed ways of the past. I am not interested in "meritless negotiations" that leave our roads broken and our youth without jobs. I am one of you. I see the shame of our underdevelopment, and I feel the fire to change it.
We are the backbone of this constituency. It is the youth who farm the land, who fish the waters, and who carry the dreams of our ancestors. It is time we had a representative who doesn't just talk to us, but stands with us.
I am coming to contest not just for a seat, but for our dignity. I am coming to ensure that the wealth of Jomoro stays in Jomoro.
This is our time. This is our Jomoro. Let’s take it back!
