The Director of Directorate of Public Affairs and former broadcaster with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Mr. Abdul Hayi Moomen, has successfully launched his third book, NEWSROOM POVERTY: The Silent Crisis in Ghanaian Journalism.

The launch, held on 1st August at the Twin Oval Hall, brought together journalists, academics, students, media professionals, and distinguished guests to reflect on the challenges confronting Ghana's journalism industry.

The publication contributes to the ongoing national conversation on the welfare, working conditions, and sustainability of journalism in Ghana, while reinforcing UDS' commitment to advancing knowledge through research, scholarship, and public engagement.

Congratulations to Mr. Abdul Hayi Moomen on this remarkable achievement. We celebrate this milestone and wish him continued success in shaping the future of journalism and media discourse in Ghana.
