“I Paid Mr. P In Dollars” — Maccasio Clears The Air Ahead of Biggest Concert.

TAMALE — Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Maccasio has set the record straight on who booked Nigerian music icon Mr. P for his upcoming concert.

Speaking on reports that claimed Hon. Habib Iddrisu paid for Mr. P’s booking, Maccasio clarified that he personally paid the booking fee in dollars.

According to him, while Hon. Habib Iddrisu remains a major pillar behind the event, his support is focused on the production side — including the stadium, stage, sound, and lighting.

The Maccasio x Mr. P concert is scheduled for 18th July 2026 at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale, Northern Region, Ghana. The show is being billed as one of the biggest concerts to hit the North.
