JUST IN: Police have seized 500 cartons of assorted Tramadol at Widana in the Upper East Region.
The seizure forms part of ongoing efforts by the security agencies to clamp down on the illegal distribution and trafficking of pharmaceutical drugs.

Development Update

Roads are steadily receiving attention across the constituency!

Here’s a quick update on some ongoing and completed projects:

Kenten–Aworano–Messidan: Road tarred, including Aworano town roads.
Jama & Timponim: Town roads tarred.
Senebene: Roads tarred.
Krobo: Town roads completed, awaiting tarring.
Krobo–Agosa: About 60% completed, including the most dangerous bridges.
Tuobodom: Mazine and Zongo gutter works about 70% completed.
Offuman–Wenchi: Road works ongoing.
Gyebiri: Inner roads completed, awaiting tarring.
Abrafi Estate: Roads partly tarred.
Anyinabrem: Town roads completed, awaiting tarring.

And the work continues! Messidan–Buoyem is on the list , alongside Akrofrom–Samara Road and many other communities.
