🎤 FIRST LIVE PERFORMANCE OF “WE GOT A MATCHHH!” 🎤

What a special moment.

I had the opportunity to debut “We Got A Matchhh!” live at the Shenandoah Valley Juneteenth Celebration and share music from my first Afrobeats project with the community.

This song tells the story of a connection that grew across continents and became the inspiration for an entire EP. Writing and performing it has been part of a journey that has challenged me, stretched me, and inspired me in ways I never imagined.

All lyrics and melodies were written by me and the song was produced in Ashaiman, Ghana by Myco Beatz.

Special thanks to Queen YaYaah for her vocal direction, artistic guidance, and encouragement throughout the recording process.

Thank you to everyone who stopped, listened, danced, encouraged, and shared in the experience.

Take a look at the full performance below and let me know what part speaks to you most.

⚽ UNDER THE LIGHTS IN TEMA 🇬🇭

Football is more than a sport in Ghana, it’s a community experience.

Across the country, fans gather in neighborhoods, viewing centers, restaurants, and public spaces to cheer on the Black Stars together. The excitement, debate, celebrations, and shared pride create an atmosphere unlike anything else.

Tonight, Tema’s Community 4 joins that tradition as Ghana takes on Panama in the FIFA World Cup.

Black Music Month is about more than songs.

It’s about preserving stories.

Every generation leaves behind a soundtrack that helps tell the story of who they were, what they valued, what they struggled against, and what they dreamed about.

Watching Eve revisit her catalog during NPR’s Black Music Month celebration was a reminder that music is one of our most powerful forms of cultural documentation.

The artists may age. The styles may change. But the impact remains.

At Lorie Out Loud Media, we believe that stories matter; whether they’re told through music, conversation, photography, film, or lived experience.

Today’s wisdom:

Don’t underestimate the value of documenting your journey. What feels ordinary today may become history tomorrow.

Enjoy this brief moment with Eve. It’s so good.

Love has a way of teaching us things we never expected to learn.

This airport photo is one of many memories collected over years of traveling between two worlds.

It also inspired a storytelling concept I’ve been developing called Love Across Continents.

Today’s reel is a scene from that concept.

Watch it and tell me:

Would you keep watching?

One of the things I appreciated most about this conversation was Queen YaYaah’s honesty. We talked about music, television, perseverance, and the challenges women continue to face in the entertainment industry.

Have you watched it yet?
