It shouldn't take you by surprise when the world rejects you. Fact is,they will because they don't know God- our FATHER.

This testifies that even the world know and have accepted the fact that we are truly the sons of God,they wouldn't reject us if they didn't know.

So its really not about the world rejecting you but about knowing who you are and your place in Christ.
