NPP, DON’T WHISPER YOUR APOLOGY—SAY IT TO GHANA!

So the NPP had the courage to make the allegation publicly, but when it became clear that the information was inaccurate, they suddenly discovered the beauty of a quiet apology letter?

Come on!

You accused Sammy Gyamfi publicly. You damaged his reputation publicly. You put the allegation into the public domain publicly. Now apologize publicly!

NPP, hold a press conference and repeat, word for word, what you have written in this letter:

“The information we communicated was inaccurate. We were wrong. We apologize to Sammy Gyamfi.”

Let the cameras roll. Let the journalists ask questions. Let Ghanaians hear it from your own mouths.

Because you cannot use a microphone to destroy someone’s reputation and use a piece of paper to repair it.

And frankly, this letter raises an even bigger question: If you are genuinely sorry, why are you hiding behind a letter?

NPP, come out and apologize to Sammy Gyamfi in the same public space where you accused him. Ghana is watching.
