1. Statue of Komfo Anokye commanding the Golden Stool from the sky at Bantama Roundabout opposite Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

2. The statue of a man in a traditional cloth standing on a leopard beating gong-gong at the K*masi Central Prisons Roundabout, Adum.

3. The statue of a giant horse in the middle of Ahodwo roundabout.

*Women's health to wealth promote Cervical cancer Education in Ahafo ano south west district*

Women health to wealth has provided free cervical cancer screening school going children's and some grow up woman's in Ahafo ano south west district and also provided pregnancy delivery kicks to support pregnant women in the district.

According to women's health to wealth said cervical cancer screening and health education is more important and there is a need for the people in Ahafo ano south west district should take it seriously.

Cervical cancer is an infection which causes cancer cells to form in the cervix.

The World Health Organization (WHO) says it is the fourth most frequent cancers in women in the world. It is the most common in Ghana.

Dr. Reuben Bedzrah who is the district director for Ghana health services said, 85 per cent of cervical cancer occurs in low- and middle-income countries especially Ghana.

A study report published in the Journal of Global Oncology suggests improvement in the application of preventive strategies could considerably reduce the burden of cervical cancer in Ghana.

“It needs so much attention and since it’s preventable. It’s one of the biggest reasons to screen women and educate them on vaccination so they prevent the infection. It’s two years in running because cervical cancer is the most common gynaecological cancer as such it needs so much attention,” she said.

Dr. Reuben Bedzrah called on them to always visit any hospital for treatment in the district.
