This generation is more depressed than ever because we’re living without purpose.
Back in the day, survival drove people forward. Putting food on the table. Keeping a roof overhead. Life was about meeting real, tangible needs.
Now, we’re just existing. We chase paychecks, scroll through feeds, and snap pictures for Instagram, hoping to present some illusion of a perfect life to the world. But behind the scenes, it's hollow—a polished façade without substance, and deep down, we feel it. We all do.
We don’t know what we’re striving for, so we fill the void with screens, hookups, likes, partying, drugs, and empty achievements.
It’s all just an endless distraction from the quiet, haunting question that hits us all: “What’s the point of it all?”
Without something real to fight for, to connect to, to hope for, we’re left wondering why we’re even here.
