EOCO EXPLAINED REASONS FOR SHATTA WALE ARREST.

So far, Charles Nii Armah Mensah has been unable to identify the person from whom he purchased the said Lamborghini Urus vehicle except to say that he purchased it from the "Street" and from someone possibly called "ZAK" who may have contacted him on WhatsApp but whose identity he does not know and whose contact he has thrown away.

So far, Charles Nii Armah Mensah does not also possess any documentation in terms of receipt or transfer documents which shows that he owns or purchased the said vehicle except a custom declaration document in his possession bearing the name of Nana Kiabena Amuah who is currently in jail.

A renowned graphics designer and infotainment pundit, Suakib Abdul Somed, popularly known as Pages, fires shots at people belittling the effort of Fancy Gadam, calling them hypocrites.

Wale Infotainment News cited this on his page, and it reads:

"It is increasingly evident that in Northern Ghana, we still exhibit a disappointing level of ignorance and blatant hypocrisy when it comes to appreciating and engaging with the realities of the modern music business.Rather than embracing progress, fostering innovation, and supporting our own through meaningful industry development, we continue to undermine ourselves with small-minded thinking, selective criticism, and a refusal to evolve. Until this mentality changes, we will remain our own biggest obstacle.

So, will all industry players simply switch on a camera to spew reckless commentary? Do you even understand what you’re saying?

When Stonebwoy went to the UK and performed on the streets for passersby, did you guys not describe that as growth? Are you now suggesting that Fancy Gadam should have rejected a similar opportunity?

Have you even attempted to think beyond the surface, about the strategic value of exposure, the high-level industry relationships he could build, and the deeper understanding he could gain of the global music business?

Ironically, you are the very same people who go on air accusing these artists of being lazy and failing to secure such opportunities, yet here you are again, positioning a camera solely to belittle him once more.

The hypocrisy is astounding. You are nothing but ungrateful opportunists.

POLICE ARREST THREE SUSPECTS WITH RESTRICTED DRUGS AND FIREARM NEAR SAVELUGU

The Northern Regional Police Command arrested three suspects for unlawful possession of restricted pharmaceutical drugs and a firearm near Diare, a suburb of Savelugu in the Northern Region.

The suspects, Jabuni S. Mohammed, Alidu Abdul Samed, and Abdul Aziz, were arrested on Sunday, 3rd August 2025, by a patrol team during a routine night operation along the Tamale–Bolgatanga highway.

Preliminary investigations indicate that suspect Jabuni, who was driving a Nissan Hardbody pick-up with registration number GN 2812–20, failed to stop at a checkpoint at Diare. A pursuit ensued, during which he abandoned the vehicle and attempted to escape into a nearby bush. He was, however, arrested shortly after. A search of the vehicle revealed a deflated spare tyre containing 1,399 blister foils of Tafrodol 120mg, a restricted drug, and a loaded pistol concealed in the headrest.

Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of the two other suspects, Alidu and Abdul Aziz, who were arrested on an unregistered motorbike while en route to meet the suspect Jabuni.

All three suspects are currently in police custody and will be put before the court.
