Germany is pulling its troops out of Greenland after a very brief assessment mission. The withdrawal comes amid President Donald Trump’s tariff threats and his claim that Greenland should belong to the US.

The German military reconnaissance team that arrived in Greenland on Friday is on its way back after a 44-hour deployment on the Arctic island, Bild newspaper reported on Sunday.
