In The Gambia, hard work is often overlooked, and opportunities are handed to those with connections. But I’m here to tell every dedicated, hardworking person to hold their head high and keep pushing forward. Thousands may want to speak out, but I’m one of the few with a voice—or maybe I don’t have a voice yet, but right now, I can speak my truth, free from control or fear.

I’m not afraid to say it: the recent award night was a sham. We all know the truth, but too many stay silent, scared of backlash. I don’t care who tries to intimidate me or anyone else—we’re not backing down. We’re bringing something new to entertain and uplift the Gambian people. The deal is done, and change is coming.
