My name is Sheikh mboob faal.But i'm popularly known as rapper faal, i have been doing music for quite a while now and i have manage to come across lot of incredible people and amazing fans, it sadden me to make such announcement but i have to as i believe is the best for me and my family as well. From today i have decided to quit music and focus on myself and family, i thank my amazing fans who have shown me an unbelievable amount of love and affection and also all my staff that supported me and put their efforts and resources into my career to reach this stage. I thank all the Gambian artists who supported me and guide me through the industry, my decision is made based on my personal reason which i conclude is the best for me. OFFICIAL STATEMENT BY NYANCHO’S MANAGEMENT TEAM!!!!

REGARDING BEST of the BEST TEAM’s CLAIMS of ARTISTS’ SELECTION CRITERIA. BEST of the BEST TEAM OWED NYANCHO MONEY THAT’s WHY THEY DID NOT REACH OUT TO HIM.

Nyancho aka APACHAKY’s Management is rebelliously against the claims of BEST of BEST’s cofounder Pa Jawara in his recent interview with Alagie Muhammed on Tonyakesso.

Pa Jawara’s alters on BEST of the BEST’s selection criteria where he mentioned Nyancho as one of those artists who have not been relevant in the industry is the greatest falsity of the century. It’s nothing but a way to downgrade Nyancho’s decade of presence in the Gambia’s creative Industry. We are very disappointed in Mr. Jawara.

If truly track-record consideration of artists is a selection criteria, then Pa Jawara has misled the public. Nyancho’s “Polisol” album project is the biggest album project ever in the Gambia. He has stayed relevant ever since and he is being listed in the group of the most booked artists in the Gambia. If it’s still about relevance as stated by Pa Jawara; Nyancho has the biggest and the longest European tour in 2024 with his well attended welcoming concert held at Bakau last year.

However, Pa Jawara’s last interview made Gambian music fans to realize that BEST of the BEST’s selection criteria of Artists is based on nothing but personal aggrandizement. It’s a platform set up to fat up pockets but not to take Gambian music to anywhere. It’s also a platform that could easily make artists of the Gambia to establish unnecessary grudges and hatred against one another unless otherwise.

Nyancho’s Management hereby clarifies that the BEST of the BEST team has not paid the balance payment of Nyancho in 2023 and in 2024 that’s why they couldn’t get to Nyancho. From the look of things, Nyancho’s calmness and discipline has been taken for granted and that’s why Mr. Jawara made misleading pronouncements at Tonyakesso to belittle the Gambia’s greatest stage entertainers of all time (Nyancho).

However, by means of maturity and positivity, Nyancho’s management would also like to urge all the fans of Nyancho to be present at the BEST of the BEST event ground to support other Gambian Artists on this year’s performance list.
