A double win for Scanaid today whilst our Academy girls were busy hammering Team Menmar haddy Jarjue was also out there doing what she does best she sprinted to victory in the women 200M race after missing out last year due to false start Haddy is currently the best 200m female athlete in The Gambia school sports.
Congratulations 🎉 queen
Our fingers are cross and praying for haddy as she is preparing to defend her crown in the 100m tomorrow

Haddy Jarjue, the rising star from Scanaid International School, has cemented her reputation as a dominant force in Gambian school sports, stepping perfectly into the spotlight following the graduation of former track queen Isatou Sey. As an in-form sprinter, Haddy currently holds the 100m crown and is poised to defend her title at the 2026 National Athletics Championship in Bottrop.
Following a disappointing false start in the 200m at Basse last year, Haddy is prepared both physically and mentally to reclaim her dominance in that event as well. Her consistent performance and explosive speed on the track make her a key hope for the Scanaid athlete team. With her dedication and talent, Haddy is considered bound for greatness on the track. We wish Haddy and her teammates the best of luck as they compete in the championship in Bottrop.
