Early last year, I was featured in a short film titled THE BACKWAY. The story is about a young migrant returning to his home country after being deported from the UK. Battling with feelings of shame and acceptance, he must come to terms with the stark reality of the sacrifice his family made in risking everything they had to fund his journey, and the consequences of his return home.

I was honored to work with the lead actor and writer of the film Cherno Jagne, the BAFTA nominated actor Babou Ceesay alongside amazing actors and crew members from the Gambia and the UK.

We are happy to announce that our short film ,‘The Letter has won an award at the prestigious Black star film festival in Ghana . The award is; ‘Africa Rising’ Film award.
Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of this amazing film. This film is based on the Novel Dabbali Gi by Gambian author Baaba Sillah.

Last year, I was approached by Mr Sillah to produce one of his books into a short film. We are excited to premiere the short film . The letter is a short film that tells the unknown stories of the ordinary Gambians who were affected greatly by history's deadliest conflict, World War Two. This film is based on the Novel Dabbali Gi by Gambian author Baaba Sillah.
