Panic Among Friends of Those Accused of Deliberate HIV Transmission as Close Contacts Test Negative
Panic has gripped those close to the individuals involved in the case of the deliberate transmission of HIV/AIDS to their sexual partners. Following the arrest of several well-known figures, most of them from the entertainment industry, the debate has shifted toward the HIV status of those around them.
The most recent arrests, those of the employees of businesswoman Mame Ndiaye Savon, have caused quite a stir. To reassure her customers, the businesswoman, accompanied by her husband—whom she recently married—took an HIV test. Her test, as well as that of her former employee and now husband, Souleymane Dia, known as “Fou,” came back negative. The young woman displayed the test results to prove their “innocence.”
In the same vein, TikToker Nogaye Kara, a close friend of the businesswoman and the arrested employees, cleared up any doubts: her test results are also negative. The same applies to Adji Mass, who is very close to this circle of friends. Socialite Rangou had also revealed her negative test result the day after the disclosure of the HIV-positive status of host Pape Cheikh Diallo and others.
