Kabada Development Organization (KDO) has demonstrated its continued commitment to youth empowerment and community development by supporting an artist ahead of his upcoming event.

KDO contributed D12,000 in support of Abdul, popularly known by his stage name Safla One (1), toward his album launch event scheduled for 30th December 2025 at Missera School.

In addition, Honourable Alieu Baldeh, Member for Jarra West, generously added D2,500 as personal support for the event.

KDO remains dedicated to encouraging young artists and promoting development initiatives across Kabada, creating opportunities for talent to grow and thrive.

In response, Safla One (1) has expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to Kabada Development Organization and Honourable Alieu Baldeh for their timely support toward the success of his album launch.

Kabada TV will continue to support and highlight positive development and youth-driven initiatives within the community.

Seydou Diallo of Mounkutala (Kabada) Successfully Validates His Master’s Thesis

Seydou Diallo, a native of Mounkutala in Kabada, has successfully validated his Master’s thesis yesterday, earning his Master’s degree with the distinction Très Bien. This achievement marks an important milestone in his academic journey and highlights his dedication to addressing critical environmental issues in southern Senegal.

His thesis, titled “The Dynamics of Forests in Middle Casamance: The Case of the Forest of the Commune of Tankon, Bounkiling Department,” examines the state of forest ecosystems in an area known as the green lung of Senegal. Casamance is renowned for its dense vegetation, rich biodiversity, and extensive forest resources, which are vital for environmental balance and local livelihoods.

Seydou Diallo’s research reveals a concerning reality: the forests of Tankon, like those in other communes of Bounkiling, are rapidly disappearing. The main factors driving this degradation are abusive logging for international markets, recurrent bush fires, and uncontrolled agricultural clearing. These activities not only threaten the environment but also negatively affect economic and social sectors that rely on forest resources.

Through this significant research, Seydou Diallo provides valuable insights into the challenges facing Casamance’s forests and emphasizes the urgent need for sustainable forest management and conservation policies. His success is a testament to his academic excellence and commitment to environmental preservation.

Momodou, a humble and hardworking young man from Jarra Dongoroba, has successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Technical Education (Medical Engineering) from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) in Bangladesh.
