AIR PEACE BREAKS NEW GROUND WITH TRANSFORMATIONAL DONATION TO KNOSK 100NairaADay SCHOOL

In a landmark demonstration of true corporate citizenship, Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace, has made a life-changing donation to the KNOSK (Knowledge, Skill and Kreativity) 100NairaADay Secondary School in Kuje, Abuja becoming the first major Nigerian corporate body to ever support the school.

Founded in 2019 with only 30 students, KNOSK now serves more than 180 children, many of whom come from families unable to pay even the symbolic ₦100 daily fee.

For years, KNOSK had But that changed when Air Peace stepped in, breaking what the school’s leadership described as “a longstanding jinx.”

Despite this hardship, the school has produced outstanding results, including a 100% WAEC pass rate for its first graduating class and multiple students scoring above 200 in JAMB. One of its star graduates, once destined for early marriage at 14 years old went on to become the school’s best science student, earning distinctions in WAEC.

Air Peace’s donation came at a critical time as the nation transitioned to Computer Based Testing (CBT) for major exams. The school urgently needed laptops to equip its students for this digital shift. The airline’s support enabled KNOSK to acquire new systems toward establishing a dedicated CBT centre.

Representing Air Peace, Communications Analyst Hawa Oyinloye Alege expressed heartfelt pride and admiration for the children. “We are so, so proud to support this project, a place where determination, hope, and hard work are persistent. where despite the challenges the children have, their dreams have not been held back. We look forward to seeing them achieve great and amazing things in the future.”

The donation also funded one-year scholarships for 20 students, a lifeline for families unable to afford the ₦240,000 annual school fee.

SS3 student Patience Omuata, speaking with gratitude, said:
“It really means a lot to us because our parents might not be able to afford the school fees and you have given it to 20 children with goodness of heart. On behalf of the students here at KNOSK, Mr. Allen Onyema, I want to say may God continue to bless him and keep him. Thank you sir for being a father to people like us ”

Another beneficiary, SS1 student Vivian Odizwe, highlighted the urgent impact of the laptops:
“Seeing that there is a high probability that next year, WAEC will be CBT. The school needed 40 laptops and you have given us more to reach that number. With this, we can practice, write our exams, and learn other digital skills. We appreciate it so much.”

For KNOSK, Air Peace’s involvement is historic. Cofounder Mr. Kingsley Bangwell explained the significance of the partnership, saying:

“We have received support from the embassies of Ireland, Finland, and the United States. But we had never seen a major Nigerian corporate body step forward and we are glad that Air Peace has broken that notion, their donation is not only financial support it is also validation.”

He added, “These children came in struggling to read and write. Today we have distinctions, 200+ JAMB scores, and transformed lives. Air Peace has become part of their story.”

The founder Mrs Irene Bangwell described the chairman as a symbol of courage and a model for the children, noting his reputation as one of Nigeria’s bravest entrepreneurs to which she was glad to show and teach the children the value of being bold enough to take risks

Air Peace’s gesture continues the airline’s long history of humanitarian action from evacuations of stranded Nigerians to active support for communities in need. This latest intervention reinforces its identity not only as an aviation giant, but as a people-centered institution committed to national development.

Recall that, on the 27th May Air Peace also partnered with Raising Star Africa to support children living with disabilities through proper education, essential resources, and meaningful grants, extending financial support, souvenirs, and hands-on encouragement to the children during the This Ability program .

It is yet another testament to Air Peace’s unwavering dedication to inclusion, compassion, and giving every child the opportunity to rise. Air Peace has not only provided tools and scholarships it has given children the confidence to believe their dreams are valid.

This is a special edition dedicated to the patriotic African son and President of Guinea Bissau, Umaro Mokhtar Sissoco Embaló, who is working hard to make his country, Africa and the world a better place for all.

We feature his transformative developmental projects and how he is changing the narrative of growth and development of his country. He was elected president at a time his country was in the grip of political instability occasioned by bad governance and poor economic indices.

He has raised the quality of governance and transformed major sectors of the economy, with substantial strategic investment in healthcare, education and women empowerment.

“Over the past five years, I have prioritised dialogue, inclusion, political stability and the consolidation of the democratic rule of law,” President Embaló speaks of the upcoming 2026 elections in Guinea-Bissau.

From The Gambia we also feature the famous educationist and administrator par excellence, Juka Fatou Jabang. She has dedicated her life to education and advancing the cause of women and the less privileged.

Featured also in this edition is a remarkable article about the deep connection between Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu and his Vice President, Kashim Shettima. The article is written by Tunde Rahman, a media aide of President Tinubu. He dissects for our readers the origin of the partnership and why the bond has grown stronger.

Many in the greater Banjul area of The Gambia have continued to benefit from her Eid al-Adha (Tobaski) rams donation to the less privileged. Such donations have been part of Elegance Media’s Corporate Social Responsibility.

There is certainly more to be discovered in this special edition that will keep you glued to its pages and contents from A to Z

“My daughter, I’m calling you as a grandmother would call her child— go back to your husband’s house. Those cheering you on today will be the first to m^ck you if things go wrong.

Remember, what an old woman sees while sitting , a child cannot see even while standing.
Be wise , my daughter. Go home, care for your children and your home. The internet is not your friend , it will not help you , it will only bring you h@rm “.
