H.E Ambassador At Large Pa Sainey Badjie AKA (Obama) has donated three (3) brand new laptops 💻 and two (2) multifunction printer with scanner 🖨 to The Gambia Immigration Department 🇬🇲 to enhance and empower their daily administrative tasks. The generous philanthropist (Obama) has promised to continue supporting the GID to the best of his ability and promised to donate more items in due course. He thank H.E President Adama Barrow for the trust in appointing him as Ambassador At Large and it is his obligation to serve and give back to The Gambia. The Gambia Immigration Department welcomed the kind gesture and thanked Obama for his benevolence. The items were received by senior GID officers at a colourful ceremony held in Banjul at the GID Headquarters.

The Kanifing Municipal Council has announced that it will be opening and signing a book of condolence for the late former Mayor Yankuba Colley at the council's premises.

The council said the book will be available for signing from Wednesday, 11th September to Monday, 16th September 2024, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The public is invited to visit the council to pay their last respects.

CONDOLENCES MESSAGE TO THE FAMILY OF THE LATE FORMER LORD MAYOR & APRC GENERAL MOBILIZER HON. YANKUBA COLLEY:

On behalf of the Youths Executive and the general membership of APRC National Youths, I write to convey our sincerest condolences on the sudden demise of the most promising and prominent figures of the Nation & APRC Party. Mayor Yankuba as fondly called, is a calm, kindhearted and blessed soul. He's the definition of a humble gentle man.

In these trying times, we join the entire APRC Party fraternity to mourn with you and equally send prayers to him and all the departed souls. May Allah Azzawajal's forgiveness, mercy and protection be upon him and all the departed. May Jannatul Firdaws be his final abode.

THE APRC NATIONAL YOUTHS EXECUTIVE
Hon. Pa Ebou Sonko after his appointment as the youth president of the APRC, drastic changes have been outlined under his leadership, mainly targeting effectiveness and better atmosphere for a sound and constructive youth sector.

Yesterday was another milestone achievement, guided by morals and compassion after a day long lectures on leadership skills and orientation by the deputy spokesperson Dodou Jah.

The day long orientation features various areas of connectivity between the youth leader and his co-opted members (executive) on ways of counseling, communicating and mentorship, which is all drive by vision.

At the end of the session, the participants appreciate the voluntary training by Dodou and express gratitude for knowledge gain.

On his part as the youth leader, Pa Ebou Sonko expresses gratitude to the participants and the lecturer for the time taken to learn more about leadership skills, as ambassadors he expects the lesson learnt will be put into practice, in solidifying a vibrant youth sector.

In the same event the deputy admin secretary of the APRC Hon Abdou Bajan, further outlined the terms of reference and the structured recommended by the parties constitution, in other to effectively carry out our portfolios.

In attendance was some executive members of the party; Aunty Mam Sait Njie, Hon Modou Lamin Badjie and Hon Abdou Banjan.
