During the rainy season, youths cleaning their community can significantly reduce the risk of flooding, prevent the spread of waterborne diseases, and foster a sense of community pride and responsibility.

The youths of Kerrserign under the guidance of Shiekh Abdul Colley today mobilized the Kabilo of PP Chop (Santayalla) and beyond in cleaning the streets within its vicinity.
These exercise will prevents blockages, reducing the risk of flooding and property damage. Removing stagnant water also helps to eliminate breeding grounds for disease-carrying mosquitoes, minimizing the spread of illnesses. Furthermore, these activities can instill a sense of ownership and responsibility for the community's well-being among the youth, promoting a cleaner and healthier environment.

Kudos to all the youths that involve in this exercise and we expect our kabilos will also emulate such a good initiative.

In a hard fought match our efforts where not enough to proceed to the next round of the qualifiers. We lost 2-1 in favor of Greater Tomorrow FC.

On Friday the 14th of October 2022, the Alkalo of our village Pa Matarr Loum of Loum K***a officially receive his appointment letter as the Alkalo of Kerr Serign village by the paramount Chief of kombo north district Momodou Lamin Bojang of sukuta.

In a well represented gathering at the Kerr Serign bantaba were village elders are presence all the imams in Kerr Serign the youths and the women’s as well. The Chief with his high powered delegation thank the new alkalo and advice him to be patient in all his dealings with his people.
The Chief highlighted some background history on how Kerr Serign was established and the relationship between sukuta and Kerr Serign.
In his remarks the new Alkalo Matarr Loum express his delight to the Chief and his delegation and also thank the elders youths and women’s of Kerr Serign for the trust they have in him.
He promise to deliver up to expectation by the grace of Allah.

We pray for the Alkali to successfully execute his mandate in peace progress and prosperity Amen.
