NPP Announces Key Executive Appointments Following Leadership Changes.
The National People’s Party (NPP) has announced a series of executive appointments made by Party Leader and President Adama Barrow, acting under the party’s constitution and a resolution from the 2025 National Congress.
The changes come in the wake of the passing of Hon. Ba Dembo “Byforce” Bojang and the redeployment of several officials.
Hon. Musa Drammeh, formerly the party’s National Treasurer, has been appointed National President of the NPP. Ambassador Saibo Tunkara, previously Deputy Treasurer, has been elevated to National Treasurer, while Mr. Eliman Ounda Nyang has been named Deputy National Treasurer.
According to the party, the appointments are aimed at strengthening internal structures, promoting unity, and enhancing organisational efficiency ahead of the 2026 General Election.
President Barrow congratulated the new appointees and urged them to uphold diligence, integrity, and patriotism. He also called on all party structures and supporters to fully cooperate with the incoming officials and remain committed to the NPP’s vision and national development goals.
The announcement was issued by Seedy S.K. Njie, Deputy Spokesman of the NPP.
