According to Greek mythology, Pisces represents two fish with their tails tied together by ribbons, the fish represent the goddess Aphrodite and her son, Eros. They are said to have transformed into fish and plunged into the Euphrates River to escape the fearsome monster Typhon, they represent the two fish that carried them to safety.
