ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ
Εφιστούμε την προσοχή των μελών της Ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας στην Γκάνα, ότι, όπως μας ενημέρωσαν, πρώην ιερέας και νυν λαϊκός, καταδικασμένος και καθηρημένος τελεσίδικα από το 2021 από το Εκκλησιαστικό Συνοδικό Δικαστήριο του Πατριαρχείου Αλεξανδρείας και πάσης Αφρικής, για σωρεία αντικανονικών παραπτωμάτων (αποσχηματισμό, εγκατάλειψη εφημεριακής θέσης, ανυπακοή στον Επίσκοπο, ένταξη σε προτεσταντική παραφυάδα, σκανδαλισμό των πιστών), ενδύθηκε αντικανονικά το ορθόδοξο σχήμα και «τέλεσε» σε αίθουσα τη λεγόμενη «Θεία Λειτουργία».
Ενημερώνουμε τους χριστιανούς μας ότι τα μυστήρια που «τελεί» ο καθηρημένος πρώην ιερέας είναι άκυρα, και ότι η συγκέντρωση αυτή αποτελεί πράξη παρασυναγωγής, αντίθετη προς την ενότητα της Τοπικής μας Εκκλησίας.
Υπενθυμίζουμε ταυτόχρονα ότι όποιος συμμετέχει σε τέτοιου είδους συγκεντρώσεις αποκόπτεται από το Σώμα της Ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας.

ANNOUNCEMENT
We draw the attention of the members of the Orthodox Church in Ghana to the fact that, as we have been informed, a former priest—now a layman—who was canonically and definitively doomed and deposed in 2021 by the Ecclesiastical Synodal Court of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa for a series of canonical offenses (defrocking, abandonment of his parish assignment, disobedience to his Bishop, affiliation with a Protestant sect, and scandalizing of the faithful), has unlawfully put on the Orthodox clerical vestments and has “celebrated” what he called a “Divine Liturgy” in a hall.
We inform our faithful that the sacraments “performed” by this deposed former priest are invalid, and that such a gathering constitutes an act of schism and unauthorized assembly, contrary to the unity of our Local Church.
We also remind everyone that whoever participates in such gatherings is cut off from the Body of the Orthodox Church.

Nous attirons l’attention des membres de l’Église orthodoxe au Ghana sur le fait que, selon les informations reçues, un ancien prêtre – désormais laïc – ayant été canoniquement et définitivement réduit à l’état laïc en 2021 par le Tribunal Synodal du Patriarcat d’Alexandrie et de toute l’Afrique, pour une série de fautes canoniques (défroquage, abandon de sa paroisse, désobéissance à son évêque, adhésion à une secte protestante, scandale des fidèles), a revêtu illégalement les habits sacerdotaux orthodoxes et a « célébré » dans une salle ce qu’il a appelé une « Divine Liturgie ».
Nous informons nos fidèles que les sacrements « célébrés » par cet ancien prêtre déposé sont nuls et non avenus, et que cette réunion constitue un acte de schisme et de rassemblement illégitime, contraire à l’unité de notre Église locale.
Nous rappelons également que quiconque participe à de telles assemblées se trouve coupé du Corps de l’Église orthodoxe.
