To Σαββατοκύριακο που μας πέρασε είχαμε τη χαρά και την τιμή να παρουσιάσουμε το έργο eDea στο Διεθνές UX Συμπόσιο "ACM GreekCHI Symposium 2024".

Το έργο eDea υλοποιήθηκε από το Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας, το Πανεπιστήμιο Αιγαίου και τις εταιρείες σχεδιασμού Butlair & Design 4 Future, με χρηματοδότηση από τη Γενική Γραμματεία Έρευνας & Καινοτομίας.

Στόχος του έργου η μελέτη και ο σχεδιασμός ψηφιακής πλατφόρμας εκπαίδευσης και υποστήριξης φοιτητών και επαγγελματιών στην αξιοποίηση του Design Thinking σε έργα.

Design Thinking has expanded beyond design teams and is now applied across diverse industries. As a result, professionals with varying levels of familiarity with Design Thinking need to engage with and apply this approach in their projects.

Σε κάθε project ξεκινάμε από τον άνθρωπο, προσπαθώντας να κατανοήσουμε τις μέχρι τώρα εμπειρίες και τις ανάγκες τους προκειμένου να σχεδιάσουμε λύσεις πάνω σε αυτές.

Τον Ιούνιο πραγματοποιήσαμε, στα πλαίσια project, έρευνα για το πώς άλλαξε η εργασία στη διάρκεια του lockddown. Μέσα από συνεντεύξεις και δημιουργικές ασκήσεις, όπως το να συμπληρώσουν ένα digital diary, επαγγελματίες από διάφορους τομείς μοιράστηκαν μαζί μας την εμπειρία, τις προκλήσεις αλλά και τα θετικά της εξ αποστάσεως εργασίας. 🏡💻

Αυτά είναι κάποια quotes από τις συζητήσεις που μας έκανα εντύπωση και μας δίνουν τροφή για σκέψη για τις επόμενες φάσεις του project!

Από την πρώτη στιγμή στην Design4Future επενδύσαμε χρόνο και ενέργεια στην εκπαίδευση των οργανισμών γύρω από την αξία του ανθρωποκεντρικού σχεδιασμού υπηρεσιών (Service Design).

Διανύοντας τον 4ο χρόνο λειτουργίας μας, συγκεντρώσαμε τις πιο συχνές απορίες γύρω από το Service Design και διοργανώσαμε ένα ολοήμερο event με καλεσμένους από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.

“Service Design in Local Government – the case of Waltham Forest Council”

George will be speaking about the Council’s journey in establishing an internal Service Design team within the Council. He will share the biggest challenges the team has faced and is facing when making the case and space for service design. He will also share a case study in which the Design process helped the Council identify opportunities for improvements and deliver better outcomes for residents.

More about George Despotidis:

George is working as a Service Designer for the London Borough of Waltham Forest. He is a member
of the Council’s in-house Service Design team working on transformation projects across the Council
to support its services deliver better outcomes for residents. George is also a founding member of
Service Design Network Greece which aims to create a cohesive community of service design
professionals, academics and students that are collectively committed to advancing the practice and
establish the Service Design discipline in Greece. He holds a Master of Arts in Social Research, a
Master of Science in Public Management and a Bachelor in Local Government.

Την Παρασκευή 28 Φεβρουαρίου, ο Γιώργος Δεσποτίδης George Despotidis θα μας περιγράψει,πώς ένας από τους Δήμους του Λονδίνου ενσωμάτωσε στο εσωτερικό του μια ομάδα σχεδιαστών. Θα μοιραστεί μαζί μας τις μεγάλες προκλήσεις που αντιμετώπισε και συνεχίζει να αντιμετωπίζει η ομάδα αυτή προκειμένου να δημιουργήσει τις ιδανικές συνθήκες και να ενσωματώσει την κουλτούρα του Service Design. Θα μας εξηγήσει μέσα από case study, πως το service design βοήθησε τον Δήμο να αναγνωρίσει ευκαιρίες για βελτίωση προκειμένου να παρέχει τις καλύτερες δυνατές υπηρεσίες στους πολίτες.
