Over the years our deep connection with Rap in Greece and beyond has become crucial to what we do. What is more central to the Black Athena ethos, however, is always being open to new sounds and new approaches and always, but always, transcending genres and trends. Over the last four years we have been extremely fortunate to be associated with some really incredible artists representing so many different genres of music: the inimitable Rap of Negros Tou Moria, the deep RnB flavoured electronica of Giganta, the Rave mutating sounds of FlökosH, the otherwordly Jazz of Loop Vertigo, the Avant Funk of Rudy Roots, the New Wave Horror sounds of CHA CHA! and many more.
Today we are very proud to be adding again something different in the mix the Lo-Fi Folk Rock of the the brilliant Tolerance Manoeuvre. DIVE IN!
