🎬 World Premiere at the 66th Thessaloniki International Film Festival | Tuesday 4/11 @ 15:30 , John Cassavetes - Thessaloniki

The MAYA & SAMAR tells the story of the relationship between two women from completely different worlds: Maya, a rising journalist from Canada, meets Samar, a q***r Afghan refugee living undocumented in Athens and working at a nightclub.

The film was shot almost entirely on the streets of Athens, with a Greek crew and creative team. It is a co-production of Filmiki Productions, in collaboration with Serendipity Point Films and January Films from Canada.
