A spearfishing course in Athens, which - as every time - gets completed with a fishing session in real conditions.
The spot is truly overfished, having been fished by the entire Attica region for decades…or maybe not???
So, fishing at depths of up to 10m, with proper technique and for the second time at the same spot, a Dentex will be caught using a 95 cm single-banded speargun!
Clear proof that when everything is done correctly, even seemingly “burned-out” spots can yield the finest fish, in very shallow depths!

Amazing day with lots of fish in shallow waters!
Dentex, Moray eel, Lionfish, Red mullets, Parrotfish and Mullet, all caught at depths up to the first 10 meters!
Back to the same spot for another attempt at the crafty local Dentex and a successful test of the new gun setup, with 3 sets of rubbers: 17.5mm, 19mm and 21mm!!!

Big Goldblotch groupers, Dentex, a Dusky grouper, Sargus, Lionfish and lots of Red mullets!
The craziest Goldblotch grouper I’ve ever found, with behavior I’ve never seen before and a Dusky grouper pulled out of the rocks by hand, with a moray eel in the hole watching my every move!

Huge Dusky groupers, White grouper, Dentex, Gilthead bream, Amberjacks, Brown meagres, Sargos!!!
A crazy day with tons of fish everywhere around me on every dive!
The trigger will be pulled many times and dozens of kilos of fish will follow onto the boat… but only in my mind…!
In reality, Spearfishing is the most selective form of fishing and we are the ones who choose what will finally go into the cooler!!!

Searching for Groupers and Achieving Life Goals - Andros Spearfishing Trip!
A father and two sons, travelling from France where catching groupers is forbidden and hoping to achieve the goal of shooting a Dusky or Goldblotch Grouper for the first time, while enjoying a couple of days on a beautiful Greek island!
During our trip, each one of them managed to land his first Dusky grouper and i caught a beautiful Goldblotch grouper!
An amazingly beautiful remote beach, groupers and an achieved life goal for everyone!

Shark, Pagrus, Mottled and Dusky Groupers!!!
A trip to the Dodecanese, with the first stop at the small island of Halki, which offered us rare and impressive sights!
A rare encounter with a Shark, a beautiful Pagrus of about 4 kilos, several Dusky groupers ranging from 2 to over 10 kilos and an Mottled grouper at an impressive drop-off from 25m going down to more than 70m deep!!!
