𝐈𝐌𝐎 – 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐌𝐄𝐏𝐀: A strategic working meeting at the International Maritime Organization - IMO Headquarters to advance maritime priorities, including empowering the element, maritime , tackling plastic marine , and more.
Participants included Dr. Jose Matheickal, Director of the Technical Cooperation and Implementation Division, Louise Proctor, Deputy Director of Planning & Programming, Dr. Heike Deggim, Director the Marine Environment Division, Gyorgyi Gurban, Head of Projects Implementation and HELMEPA's Director General Olga Stavropoulou, Head of Strategy & Development Constantinos Triantafyllou and Training Committee Executive Board member Alexandra Couvadelli, LLB, LLM.

Aligned with the 2025 World Maritime Day theme, , the meeting reinforced the shared commitment of IMO and HELMEPA to sustainable, people-centered maritime progress.
