🥧 Happy Pi Day!

Today felt like the perfect day to share The Humble Pie by Jory John — a very fitting book for Pi Day! (Pie… Pi… you see what I did there? 😄)

Pie is… well… very humble. He prefers to stay in the background and let others shine. But when he is paired with his friend Jake the Cake for a school project, he slowly learns that sometimes it’s okay to step forward and let your voice be heard.

This funny and sweet story is full of the clever wordplay and expressive illustrations that make the Food Group books so popular with kids.

Some stories feel especially important when the world feels heavy…💛
