About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Foley Artist — not a sound designer, editor, or mixer — to join the Athens Film Sound team.
This role focuses exclusively on the physical performance of Foley: footsteps, props, textures, and movement. You will perform and record high-quality Foley for film, series, and commercials, working in our custom-built Foley stage equipped with pits, surfaces, props, and a dedicated water tank.
What you’ll do
Perform Foley for feature films, series, and short-form content.
Work closely with the Foley Recordist / Pro Tools Specialist to capture precise performances.
Collaborate with the Sound Design team to match the director’s vision.
Maintain props, surfaces, and ensure efficient workflow during sessions.
What you’ll bring
Proven experience as a Foley Artist with portfolio / credit list (film/TV preferred).
Excellent timing, movement, and storytelling through sound.
Creativity with props and confident improvisation.
Detail‑oriented collaborator and reliable team player.
Nice to have
Experience with experimental / non‑traditional Foley approaches.
Familiarity with DAWs or sound‑design tools.
