Λίγα λόγια για τη συγγραφέα:

Η Κατερίνα Καραγκούνη γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στη Λαμία. Εργάζεται ως εκπαιδευτικός Πληροφορικής και είναι υποψήφια διδάκτωρ στο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας. Είναι επίσης κάτοχος δεύτερου τίτλου σπουδών από το Τμήμα Προσχολικής Αγωγής και Εκπαίδευσης του ίδιου πανεπιστημίου, καθώς και μεταπτυχιακού διπλώματος στην Πληροφορική και Υπολογιστική Βιοϊατρική, με κατεύθυνση τις Τ.Π.Ε. στην Εκπαίδευση.
Η αγάπη της για την ποίηση εκδηλώθηκε από μικρή ηλικία και, σε ηλικία δεκαπέντε ετών, άρχισε να γράφει τα πρώτα της ποιήματα. Τα τελευταία χρόνια ασχολείται και με την παιδική ποίηση, γράφοντας μικρές ιστορίες και λίμερικ για παιδιά.
