The debut feature film by Thanasis Neofotistos will have its World Premiere at SXSW (South by Southwest) London 2026, one of the leading film festivals, featuring a highly curated selection of 7 World Premieres, and known for championing bold & fresh cinema.
A dark folktale set in a remote mountain village in Greece ruled by superstition, it follows a teenage boy forced to wear a mask, believed to carry a curse known as the Evil-Eye. As his need for freedom grows, his difference becomes an act of resistance, unfolding as a q***r Greek coming-of-age tragedy.
