(ITA)LA MORTE NERA È PASSATA NELLA PALUDE… DEL DRAGO TARANTASIO!
Nei giorni delle Feste Solstiziali, sotto all’Albero, qui nella Palude della Nitticora Urlante, è arrivato un bel pacco pieno di uscite black metal, dark ambient e dungeon synth, donatoci dalla greca Black Death Industry in cambio di altrettante fangose prelibatezze provenienti dall’Italia.
Black Death Industry combina l’estetica DIY del CDr in bustina “economica” con un lavoro veramente professionale: molte delle loro uscite sono accompagnate da mappe, pergamene, adesivi particolari… no, non sono “promo”, sono piccole opere d’arte, stampate professionalmente e con un tocco artigianale.
Tutti i titoli della foto, che vi invitiamo a scoprire sul Bandcamp ufficiale della label, sono già in via di esaurimento, eccetto qualche copia residua di “Tarant”, una piacevole scoperta sulla quale torneremo.
Trovare, in una label greca ultra-underground, un album lodigiano dedicato al Drago Tarantasio, mitologico abitatore delle nostre Paludi Padane — e trattandosi di medieval raw black metal come piace a noi — è stata una bella sorpresa!

(ENG)THE BLACK DEATH HAS PASSED THROUGH THE SWAMP… OF THE TARANTASIO DRAGON!
During the days of the Solstice Feasts, beneath the Tree, here in the Swamp of the Howling Night Heron, a fine package arrived — packed with black metal, dark ambient and dungeon synth releases — gifted to us by the Greek Black Death Industry in exchange for an equal amount of muddy delicacies from Italy.
Black Death Industry blends the DIY aesthetics of the “economy” CDr-in-sleeve format with truly professional work: many of their releases come with maps, parchments, peculiar stickers… no, these are not “promos”, but small works of art, professionally printed and finished with a handcrafted touch.
All the titles shown in the photo — which we invite you to discover on the label’s official Bandcamp — are already close to selling out, except for a few remaining copies of “Tarant”, a pleasant discovery we will return to in the future.
Finding, within an ultra-underground Greek label, a release from Lodi dedicated to the Tarantasio Dragon — the mythical dweller of our Po Valley marshlands — and delivered in the form of medieval raw black metal just the way we like it, was a wonderful surprise!
