REHEARSALS

You can rehearse as a band or individual Musician on an hourly or daily basis on our standard Backline (Marshall, Engl amps), Tama Drums and a PA and a 24 channel digital Yamaha console. You can run your Tour or Recording Pre Production with your own, our or any other gear you may need.

RECORDINGS

We are well equipped with a Toft Audio console, Antelope Discrete and SSL interfaces, TL Audio, Kultube, TC Electronic, Focusrite, and Shure, Sennheiser, Neumann etc Microphones. Our recording platforms are Cubase 6 & 9, Logic X and Studio One on our MACs. We carefully convert and make sure the signals sound great with our gear. We also offer a top selection of pre amps, high standard Microphones and outboards. The DD offers a cozy and comfortable working environment and guarantees the rich sound everyone is looking for. Above the Studio inside the Alster City compound is a small Mall, a Supermarket, little shops and Restaurants, a gym, a martial art center, Doctors etc.

Upon request we can provide accommodation at nearby apartments or 4 - 5 star Hotels. You can hire the Studio on a weekly, daily or hourly basis and choose who you want to work with, or bring your own engineer. We also work with other top Engineers and Producers and other Studios worldwide and can also offer you fair prices for Mix and Master! With a good sounding room, good gear, experienced and experimenting staff we like to say that …..”Nothing is impossible”! MARK CROSS, also known as the “Powerhouse”, a world class drummer, who has worked with some of the greatest Bands and Artists in Rock History like The Scorpions, Helloween, Kingdom Come, Joe Lynn Turner, Ian Gillan, Tank, Tower of Babel, Tainted Nation, Firewind, God´s Army, Tower of Babel and the Vivaldi Metal Project to name a few, have given him a great reputation in the industry and is the head behind the Drum Dungeon. Great sounding drums were always what he aimed for and being a busy Musician, he decided to create his own facilities to record his Music and recapture the old ways of recording. It was the time, when Mark moved from London to Hamburg in 2014 and was looking for the right place to set up his gear. Mark will share his “knowhow” in Drum recording and also offers his drum services to record or produce your Music for young Musicians, Bands, newcomers or established Artists. “The internet has made instant communication possible, as well as rapid file sharing to quickly complete Productions. We can exchange files via our ftp servers, WeTransfer or DropBox and deliver edited and great sounding drums for you. You don’t have to be a famous Musician to work with famous Musicians, I am very keen to explore and share every opportunity with you.” Mark’s longtime experience as a recording and touring Artist, as well as a recording seminar Tutor for the SAE allows him to apply top playing, recording and mixing skills and bring your Production to a world class level. Mark has also worked in the past with producers like Charlie Bauerfeind (Helloween), Chris Tsangarides (Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy and Gary Moore), Kip Winger and Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Pretty Maids, Outloud)

Max is a multi talented Musician, playing guitar, piano, Violin and sings. He is also a skilled Engineer, haing toured and recorded with many Artists like Ken Hensley, who also produced Max´s first Band and Album, Rudolf Rock and the legendary German Blues/Rock singer "Jessy Martens & Band", he is a master in what he does. www.kretzenbacher.de

MARK CROSS, auch bekannt als "Powerhouse", ein erstklassiger Schlagzeuger, der mit einigen der größten Bands und Künstlern der Rockgeschichte gearbeitet hat, wie The Scorpions, Helloween, Kingdom Come, Joe Lynn Turner, Ian Gillan, Tank, Tower of Babel, Tainted Nation, Firewind, God´s Army, Tower of Babel und das Vivaldi Metal Project, um nur einige zu nennen, haben ihm einen guten Ruf in der Branche eingebracht und ist der Kopf hinter dem Drum Dungeon.

Als bielbeschäftigter Musiker war er immer hinterher gut klingende Drums aufzunehmen und beschloss sein eigenes Studio aufzubauen, um seine Musik aufzunehmen und die alten Aufnahmemethoden weiter zu führen.

Mark zog 2014 von London nach Hamburg und suchte den richtigen Ort, sein Equipment aufzubauen. Er arbeitete die ersten Jahre als Manager des Rockin´Restaurants Zwick in Altona und darüber hinaus im Aufnahmestudio Zwick über dem Club. Leider wurden das Geschäft und die Räumlichkeiten 2016 geschlossen und Mark musste erneut nach einer neuen Unterkunft suchen.

Heute wurde ein neuer Standort gefunden! Mark teilt sein „Knowhow“ im Drum-Recording, bietet aber auch seinen Drum-Service an, als Session Schlagzeuger aufzunehmen oder Eure Musik zu produzieren. Dies gilt natürlich für alle Bands, Musiker, Solo Artisten oder etablierte Künstler. „Das Internet ermöglichte eine sofortige Kommunikation sowie einen schnellen Dateiaustausch, um Productions schnell abzuschließen. Wir können Dateien über unsere FTP-Server, WeTransfer oder DropBox austauschen und bearbeitete und gut klingende Drums für Sie liefern. Sie müssen kein berühmter Musiker sein, um mit berühmten Musikern zusammenzuarbeiten. Ich bin sehr daran interessiert, jede Gelegenheit zu erkunden und mit Euch zu teilen. "

Marks langjährige Erfahrung als recording - und touring drummer sowie ein Aufnahmetrainings-Tutor der SAE ermöglichen es ihm, erstklassige Techniken anzuwenden um Eure Produktion auf ein Weltklasseniveau zu bringen. Mark hat auch in der Vergangenheit mit Produzenten wie Charlie Bauerfeind (Helloween), Chris Tsangarides (Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy und Gary Moore), Kip Winger und Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Pretty Maids, Outloud) gearbeitet.

Nach langjähriger Live und Studio Erfahrung mit Musikern und gössen wie Ken Hensley, der seine erste Band produzierte, Rudolf Rock und sein Solo Projekt, spielte er auch in der “Jessy Martens Band”. Er ist ein Meister in Performance, Gitarre, Piano, Keyboard und Gesang.
