Back in our favourite little corner of Rhodes 🤍
Slow mornings, warm evenings, salty skin, and the kind of memories you never really leave behind. ✨

Rhodes will always hold such a special place in our hearts… the place where so many of our favourite memories began, and somehow it feels even more magical every time we come back. 🇬🇷☀️

And with that, the 2025 season comes to an end…
and if I’m honest, this year wasn’t what I thought it would be.

It was hard in ways I didn’t expect. A year of learning, adjusting, surviving more than thriving at times. Of plans changing, priorities shifting, and doing my best to hold things together for the kids even when it felt heavy behind the scenes.

But as this year closes, I’m not wishing for a perfect next one — just a steadier one.

A year of getting out of debt and easing the weight that’s been sitting on our shoulders.
A year of focusing on the kids being happy, safe, and supported.
A year of slowly getting life back on track — one step, one choice, one month at a time.

Nothing flashy. Nothing unrealistic.
Just progress, peace, and a bit more breathing room.

Here’s to a quieter reset, a clearer focus, and moving forward — gently, but with intention. ✨

December is usually my favourite time of year… the lights, the traditions, the cosy moments. But this week?
It hasn’t felt like that for me.

Life has been heavy in that quiet, overwhelming way — nothing huge, just the buildup of a thousand little things. The mental load, the rush, the expectations, the pressure we put on ourselves to make everything magical for everyone else… even when we’re running on fumes.

But this moment… watching him meet Father Christmas… it stopped me.
His face lit up in a way only kids can manage — pure wonder, no hesitation, no stress, no thought of the to-do list or the dinners or the washing piling up.
Just magic.

And it reminded me that even when we feel flat, tired, or a bit lost in the noise of the season… our kids still feel the magic we create. Not because everything is perfect, but because we show up.

If you’re struggling to feel festive this year, or you’re smiling on the outside while holding it together on the inside — you’re not the only one.
So many of us are quietly carrying the weight of it all, trying to make December special while dealing with life behind the scenes.

You’re doing better than you think.
The magic is still there — maybe softer, maybe slower — but it’s there.
And sometimes, moments like this are enough to help us find our way back to it. ❤️✨
