If a comfort food has a personality, Mang Inasal Philippines Pancit Palabok would be that warm, slightly messy friend who always shows up when you need a hug!😊

The noodles are soft and cozy, just soaking up that bright orange shrimpy sauce. While the toppings are little squad of egg slices, crunchy chicharon, and bits of meat that makes every bite exciting.

All in all, it’s masarap in a soft, comforting way! It’s simple, and something you’d crave on a random afternoon or after a long day.

We ordered Mylene’s Bakeshop Okoy and the first thing you will notice is the texture. The wrapper is light and crisp, not oily, with a clean crunch in every bite. Inside, the mix of vegetables adds freshness and a slight sweetness, which balances well with the savory pork and the natural brininess of the baby shrimps 🙂

The S**a dipping sauce also plays a big role. A good sweet vinegar with a bit of tang ties everything together and brings out the flavor of the filling without empowering them.

Overall, it’s a satisfying dish that works well as both a snack and a main. 🙂

Always our fave! Lucky Me! Pancit Canton - Original Flavor. This is basically the most iconic instant noodles in the Philippines. It has a good baseline flavor, savory and slightly sweet!! Uulitin ulitin, hindi nakakasawa! 😊

Tried Cardiac Delights in Marikina. We ordered the following: BAGNETSILOG, HIGH BLOOD and LIEMPOSUCTION!

• BAGNETSILOG is definitely one of the best, perfect frying of egg plus the texture of the bagnet is super crispy with a juicy fat inside. Amazingly flavorful even without sauce because of the seasoning used.

• HIGH BLOOD is the twist on a classic Filipino dish dinuguan. The contrast is the main appeal, you get rich, slightly tangy, savory sauce paired with crispy pork pieces. The crunch cuts through the heaviness of the sauce, which can make it more enjoyable than the traditional version.

• LIEMPOSUCTION on the other hand highlights its smoky flavor. The fat renders nicely, giving you juicy meat with crispy edges.

All in all, we will go back!! 🙂

Their name is catchy, and the place is inviting. Located inside a Carwash in Marikina City. Who would have thought there is a brewing spot here wherein you can order your coffee while waiting for your car to be serviced. They offer different kinds of coffee and even some handcrafted pizzas.

Ordered their Dark Chocolate Frappe - sweet, yummy, and energy booster. :)

If you need a shot of caffeine or just to sit down and relax, this is a great place to do it.

“One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating."

Enjoyed eating in this peaceful restaurant located in the beautiful courtyard under an enormous old tree inside the grounds of The Castle of the Old Town, Rhodes, Zebrano Restaurant Bar

They served first the soup, Avgolemono, (Greek Lemon Chicken Soup). This is a Greek traditional soup. It is a bit like chicken and rice, but there are a few extra vegetables in it, and there are the unmistakable additions of lemon, dill, and feta cheese.

Main dish is Greek Pork Fillet, this is with potato gnocchi, and vegetable demi-glazed. The perfect doneness of pork fillet makes it best paired with wine.

Sumptuous food and pleasant aroma of wine.
