Για πρώτη φορά στην ιστορία του The Benaki Museum ολόκληρο το κτίριο της οδού Πειραιως διατέθηκε σε έναν μόνο καλλιτέχνη: τον George Hadjimichalis για την έκθεση «Γιώργος Χατζημιχάλης: Έργα από το 1966 έως το 2022». Η έκθεση διήρκησε από τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2023 μέχρι και τον Ιανουάριο του 2024. Η δίκη μας προετοιμασία, όμως, προκειμένου να υποστηρίξουμε το project τόσο σε επίπεδο Digital Performance όσο και Content Creation, ξεκίνησε έναν χρόνο πριν.
👉Συνεντεύξεις με τον καλλιτέχνη, μελέτη του έργου και της πορείας του, έρευνα στα «βάθη» του αρχείου του, δημιουργία διαύλου επικοινωνίας με την ομάδα επικοινωνίας του Μουσείου Μπενάκη για τη δημιουργία ενιαίου και ισχυρού Communication Strategy.
✨Μια έκθεση σε δύο μέρη, περισσότερα από 300 έργα και 10.000 επισκέπτες μετά, μπορούμε με σιγουριά να πούμε ότι υπάρχουν κάποια projects που είναι δύσκολο να τα περιγράψουμε με λέξεις -ναι, ακόμη και εμείς.

For the first time in the history of The Benaki Museum, entire building on Piraeus Street was exclusively devoted to showcasing the works of a singular artist, George Hadjimichalis for the exhibition titled “George Hadjimichalis: Works from 1966 to 2022.” Spanning from September 2023 to January 2024, this exhibition was the culmination of a year-long effort in preparation, aimed at bolstering the project’s digital performance and content creation.
👉This comprehensive endeavor involved conducting interviews with the artist, meticulously studying his body of work and artistic trajectory, delving deep into his archival materials, and establishing robust communication channels with the communication team at the Benaki Museum to craft a cohesive Communication Strategy.
