Another bandcamp Friday today, and a great chance to release the new video of The Science Of Words from the forthcoming album, available in around 2 weeks from now. "Volunteer" is the name of the track, which is directed and produced by Jon Aldersea/ Goldphone Creative Media.

Our three ladykillers have put the finishing touches to the mix (or rather, had them put in, to be more precise), so until the release, everything is in the hands of our longtime friend Lennert Niemeyer, who did the recordings & production and has to master the whole thing, and Jigsaw Records & Old Bad Habits Label , who, to our delight, will be releasing the new record. Keep your eyes and, of course, your ears open, as we'll be unveiling our first teaser shortly. As rumour has it the song deals with the time just before the internet (or www, as the experts call it) existed. Always on the cutting edge: Your Crabber Boys. Cheers! 🪩👋🏻

The Science of Words 1st album on vinyl is available for pre-orders, limited to 125 copies on blue vinyl!

Formed in 2014, The Science Of Words are a four piece guitar band - based around the melodic lead guitar lines of Corinne Plant.

Corinne was previously in early 1990s band, Jack In The Green, and she is joined by Pete Bowers (ex-Rosehips, ex-Jack In The Green, Horowitz, The Total Rejection), Ian (Horowitz, Red Fox Labrador) Bass Guitar , plus ex-Basement/The Loveless guitarist, Dave Morgan-Williams.

The band’s debut single ‘In A Space’ was released in 2018 on Next Phase: Normal Records and a series of new releases followed including their 7" single on our label.

The Science of words are:

Corinne: Lead guitar, bass, vocals.

Pete: Rhythm guitar, drum programming.

Ian: Bass

Dave: Rhythm guitar.

with a little help by Tom Adams and Tom Bath.

All songs written by Corrine with contributions by Dave. Mastered by Pete Bowers.
