It’s happening again on May 2026!

The 4th Athens Pop Underground Fest & Convention is happening again on the 22nd and 23rd of May 2026.

The fest is hosted by the legendary An Club, home of everything underground in Athens, Greece.

This year we have bands and artists from 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇺🇸 🇪🇸 🇩🇪 🇸🇪 and of course 🇬🇷

There are possibilities to add one more band from the states, but it will take some more time for the final yes or no!

The wonderful The Wonky Folk of Steve Duffield (The Beta Band, Milton Underground Resistance, Steve Mason Band, etc.) , with Carly (Thee Lonely Hearts) on bass guitar, Matt (Copernicus Rice) on guitar and Jane (The Green Hornets, Paul Groovy and the Pop Art Experience) on percussion and backing vocals.

An album with seven tracks, straight form the heart, from the perfect representatives of Pompey (Portsmouth) undergound scene. We confirm that you won't be able to listen to anything better. The best combination of folk, pop and psychedelia.

The Science Of Words album is released officially now! Shipment of your orders will start on Monday the 29th of September!

It is limited to 120 copies on blue vinyl!

This is a pure punk pop album, for all the pop kids of the world, bringing in memory our favorite girl fronted bands like the Rosehips, The Shop Assistants, The Fat Tulips, Fizzbombs, Talulah Gosh, Tiger Trap, the Primitives, etc.

A must have as it will be a classic one soon!

Formed in 2014, The Science Of Words are a four piece guitar band - based around the melodic lead guitar lines of Corinne Plant.

Corinne was previously in early 1990s band, Jack In The Green, and she is joined by Pete Bowers (ex-Rosehips, ex-Jack In The Green, Horowitz, The Total Rejection), Ian (Horowitz, Red Fox Labrador) Bass Guitar , plus ex-Basement/The Loveless guitarist, Dave Morgan-Williams.

The Science of words are:

Corinne: Lead guitar, bass, vocals.

Pete: Rhythm guitar, drum programming.

Ian: Bass

Dave: Rhythm guitar.

with a little help by Tom Adams and Tom Bath.
