Gonna be sharing some of our work highlights from 2025, along with a few words.
Starting with Planet Remina's full length, all the way from Tromsø, Norway 🇳🇴. Riffs and melodies that instantly grab you and
a distinct sonic character, balancing modern metal sound with bare-bone rawness and aggression.

The biggest challenge was to record drums, monitoring the source material online through audio & video streaming.
I gave precise instructions about the mic techniques and Stian (band's drummer) very tastefully tuned his drumkit to suit the music.
His takes were so good that i didn't have to use any drum sample reinforcement at all in the album.
Guitar, bass and vocals were a bit easier to do remotely. Once we were done, the band delivered their files for reamping and mixing.
Even though we were satisfied with guitar plugins while recording, once I tried reamping on a real amp, everything became more lively, juicy and simply huge. A 6505 and a Mesa Oversized 4x12 were used, here in my live room + using room mics for that nice depth.
We liked the raw vibe from the source material a lot, it served the music nicely. I aimed to preserve that vibe while making things a bit more "in your face" and aggressive, in the mixing stage. An over -processed, polished and "polite" mix would not suit their music at all.
Overall, a fun experience to work with the band online, and a great pleasure to work on such music!
