Today is National Lighthouse Day in America. Observed to honour beacons of light that for hundreds of years symbolised safety and security for ships and boats at sea.

Next month, women will have the chance to be the light in the dark for those who need or have needed our services by taking part in the Weston Hospicecare Midnight Beach walk.
